I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

pwedeng pwede sir, backward compatibility naman ang pcie, pero hindi mo lang magagamit yung full speed ng 3.0 sa 2.0, di mo rin naman ramdam un in real world

Our testing has pretty clearly shown that for gaming using either PCI-E 2.0 or PCI-E 3.0 will give you nearly identical performance. Oddly, in some benchmarks PCI-E 2.0 was actually faster than PCI-E 3.0. At the same time, x16 was not consistantly faster than x8. Again, x8 was actually faster than x16 in many cases. So unless you care about getting up to 1.5 FPS better performance, you might actually want to manually set your video cards to operate at x8 speeds - although we really would not recommend doing so.

This isn't to say that PCI-E 3.0 is not faster than PCI-E 2.0, or that x16 is the same as x8, but rather that current video cards and games are simply not able to utilize the additional bandwidth they provide. In fact, we recently showed that the performance of a Xeon Phi card is greatly reduced if you run it at x8 speeds in the blog post Performance of Xeon Phi on PCIe x8.

While we recommend using the latest PCI-E revision whenever possible, if your motherboard or video card only supports PCI-E 2.0 our results show that this really is not a problem. At the same time, if you want to install a sound card into your Z87 system but doing so would limit your video card to x8 speeds, that is also not a very big problem. At most you may see ~1.5 FPS drop in performance, but that change is so small that it is very unlikely to ever be noticeable.

high end magkano budget mo sir?

R9 390 8gb > GTX 970 > R9 380 4gb > GTX 960 > GTX 950

10k lang po budget.. yung may complete na po sana (monitor,kwyboard, mouse)
yung nakikita ko kasi sa tpc.. puro cpu lang..

I would still advise you to update it. dx12 wasn't around when earlier chips were made. just ask the shop to do it for you if youre worried. it only takes 5 minutes.

Locked yung cpu mo kaya sayang yung z97 board. Palitan mo siguro ng h97 to save a few cash. Mataas din psu mo, pwede mo baba sa 520w ng Seasonic.
Yung matitipid mo, either get a SSD or mas malaking monitor

sir eto po ung screenshot ng dxdiag ko. nka auto po ung GFX setting niya sa bios. triny ko pong i force para lumabas ung buffer frame size and nilagyan ko siya ng 2gb but then naging 777mb lng po ung nsa dxdiag. i wonder bakit po kaya ganun. may need pa po ba akong i updated na driver/s?
ung mobo ko po is gigabyte a68hm-s1 lng, updated siya as per express install lng sa cd. nalilito po kasi ako bakit kaya ung stated sa system properties is 6.95gb nlng ung useable niya, means kumaen na siya ng 1gb sa ram. but still sa dxdiag hindi siya kita.

download cpu-z here. it could be just your os. also, download drivers from amd site. install also catalyst control center.

pacheck ako ng bios mo sir, screenshot mo yung part na sa igpu apu, may mali ata sa settings

there are different tabs for cpu, memory and gpu. baka cpu lang yung nabuksan mo. theres a switchable tab on top of the window that you can click.
