Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

that's sad to know :( paano po malalaman kung single channel to? and may factor po ba yung psu? thanks po let.

about sa PSU, efficiency ng power consumption ang concern. also the reliability of the capacitors used which translates to the longevity of your PSU's life. baka rin walang 8 pin cable for GPU's like some generic PSU's
kung maingay yung fan ng CPU mo, malamang stock fan lang nakalagay dyan. palitan mo yung CPU cooler tulad ng Cooler Master EVO 212 which is maybe the best CPU coolers for its price range.
a separate GPU will also help a lot kasi mababawasan na yung load sa APU mo. R7 360 siguro since AMD build ka (+5k) or if you can afford an R7 370, go for it. don't consider anything less than these 2 kasi hindi na sulit yung gagastusin mo para sa performance gain mo eh :noidea:

Thanks sa input sir. stock fan nga lang po ito kasi sila na nag assemble nung binili ko e.. try ko yung cooler master pag nagkaipon let ako saka yung gpu. thanks po let. sulitin ko na muna tong build.. pero sofar ok lng po ba tong build na ganto?

have you disable turbo core in bios? check also if cool n quiet is enabled. increase frame buffer size to 2gb. limit also your fps to 60. or make a profile for dota2 in crimson. observe how your fps fluctuates in game. if your data shows your max is 50 fps then set the limit to that or lower that is playable to you. 45 is still decent. do not enable vsync in dota2 settings if you already capped in crimson. this will help your apu to cool down when its not necessary to render high frames rates.

The biggest problem with DVI is that it doesn’t support HDCP encryption by default, so if your hardware only includes DVI ports, you may not be able to playback full HD Blu-rays and other HD content..DVI doesn’t support audio
HDMI is the default cable on newer HDTVs, Blu-ray players, Apple TV, many new computers and video cards, and a multitude of other video devices. HDMI cables and ports are very easy to use, and are almost as easy to connect as USB devices. No more bent pins; just push and play. HDMI cables can stream digital video and audio simultaneously over the same cable. HDMI cables support up to 1920×1200 HD video and 8 channel audio. They also support HDCP encryption for the newest HD content...SOURCE:HOWTOGEEK.COM

mukhang maganda naman feedback from Amazon

usually kasi pag TN panel, talagang mabilis ang response time. less than 5ms lang (1~2ms). kaya ideal talaga for fast paced gaming
same ang response time ng mga high end IPS panels dyan sayo. yung mga low end kasi 12ms pataas.
my conclusion: low end TN panel gamit kaya mura :noidea: but i might be wrong

yung GPU mo, walang problema. may DVI ports naman eh

yung high response time, usually mga FPS ang nakikinabang.

Ok sir salamat!

why would you need an hdmi monitor? the built in audio speaker is crap anyways. unless you like playing with an audio like a cheap android phone. all treble, no bass.

Eto specs.

i3-4170
Zotac GTX 950 Dual Fan OC 2GB DDR5 128Bit
Tecware Raiden Black
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Seasonic S12II 520W
Asus H81M-A
Kingston HyperX Fury Memory 2x4gb Ddr3-1866

its not about the built in speaker :slap: most of monitor that has built in talagang pangit ung sound pero sa hdmi kasi is rgb and 4k@60fps
actually maganda din ung DVI but it hindi naka enable by default un HDCP.
