I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Step 1. Hammer a nail into the wall near your PC. Nail it somewhere so it does not easily come into contact to you or other people in the house as touching the nail will cause you electric shock. Right behind the table or on a corner are good positions.

Step 2. Take a one meter long insulated copper wire. You can scavenge this from old electric equipments or get a new one for a few bucks. Strip and tie one end of the wire on the nail that you hammered. Use electric tape to secure the wire over the nail.

Step 3. Loosen one of the screw behind the PC cabinet and tie the other end of the copper wire onto the screw. Fasten the screw again to secure the wire in place.

i7 6th gen and z170m-plus asus

na set up.. existing ko kasi i3 6th gen at z170m-plus na motherboard. mag uupgrade ako sa i7 7th gen.

Make sure na updated to the latest version ang UEFI/BIOS mo before putting in the new chip. Other than that, wala.
Also, reminder lang na kelangan mo ng matinong cpu cooler para sa i7 7th gen.

Mga master need your insights
Sobrang luge ba pag nag 1060 3gig kesa 6 gig?

heto video reference ng performance difference nila

real world performance is only around 5% difference between the 2 :noidea: so, are you willing to spend an additional +3k for that difference in performance?
pag mas mababa vram, mas limited ka sa texture quality at mas mabagal sa higher resolutions (above 1080p)... deus ex ultra pre-set is disabled pag less than 4gb vram mo.
there are differences din sa number of cuda cores between the 2 which explains the 6gb model being faster.

http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-led/ ganan CPU fan ko. ok ba yan? o need ko pa mag water cooling?

well, it's a good starting point... maganda price to performance nyan... pero kung mag-OC ka, better get Noctua NHD14/15 or an AIO liquid cooler.

Autocad needs at least a decent dual core cpu. So, mga pentium class pwede na (g4460, g4600). 8gb of ram or more. Atsaka at least a geforce 660 na gpu.
