Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Hhhhmmm
Based from online reviewers and early adaptors, mukhang marami pang compatibility issues ang raven ridge APU.
Primarily, motherboard compatibility. Kelangan pa syempre mag flash ng updated UEFI/BIOS to support the latest processor for it to boot. Some motherboard already have stickers that they directly support the apu out of the box, but that is a very small figure.
Though most are minor issues, hopefully they get fixed as early as possible

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

good day po.

sir anong compatible na graphics card pwede? 5k budget. Salamat :D

Processor: APU A8-6600K Quad-core
Graphics: Radeon HD 8570D
RAM: 4gb DDr3 ---> planning on upgrading to 8gb

tas pa advice na rin sir, pag naglalaro ako (dota2), sabay MU online (farming), biglang nag whi2te screen ung sa screen sa games pero with sound and everything..hehe..pero pag isa lang, ok lng naman..dire2tso.

Thank you.

INTEL

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-7600 Processor (6M Cache, up to 4.10 GHz) - 11,450.00
MoBo: Asus B150M PRO GAMING LGA1151 Micro-ATX Gaming Motherboard - 4,750.00
RAM: Gskill Aegis 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 CL15 (F4-2400C15D-8GIS) (2x4) - 5,450.00
GPU: Asus GTX 1050 Ti Expedition OC 4GB (EX-GTX1050TI-04G) - 10,950.00
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue - 2,200.00
PSU: Corsair VS550 Power Supply - 2,450.00

Ok na ba tong build na to? for editing and gaming hehehe. or mababa pa?

Meron ka bang existing na PC or first time build mo? Hindi naman si dine discourage kita, pero grabe ang inflation ngayon sa PC market, not a good time to build PC, 8gb RAM is 5.5k? lol. 1050Ti is too expensive, you can buy a 1060 in that range.

Try looking for a 2nd hand 750Ti.

Maybe because 4GB lang ram mo, kulang na kulang for an APU. Pwede ka naman mag upgrade ng RAM and not buy a GPU, both RAM and GPU ngayon ay mahal na mahal.

heto ryzen 2200g APU build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 4-Core 4-Thread 3.5 = 5670 (or Ryzen 5 2400G = 8840)
Mobo: ASRock AB350M Pro4 = 4600
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB Dual DDR4 3200 = 6350
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W 80PLUS Bronze = 2850
Case: Tecware F3 Full Acrylic Window Gaming Case usb3.0 = 1540
HDD: WD Blue = 2200
GPU: none

Total for Ryzen 3 = 23,210
Total for Ryzen 5 = 26,380

note: yung mobo walang assurance na gagana out of the box. ask your vendor kung papayag silang mag-flash or mag-update ng firmware ng mobo to accept the latest CPU. they might charge a little extra pero sana di lumagpas ng 500.

my nakita ako na mobo n my built in wifi or pede n kaya yung mobo na asus or yung mobo na recommended mo pang amd lang sha compatible?
s psu mas ok diba yung fully modular ba yun? need ko kc pang matagalan

Hello guys just wanna ask if ano mga possible na mangyari sa computer ko kasi dati ang gamit kong MOBO is MSI H110M PRO VH PLUS.. so yung mga naka install na drivers sa HDD pang MSI lahat.. and nasira yung MOBO ko and nakabili ako ng ASUS H110M MOBO.. okay lang ba kung isalpak ko nalang rekta yung Procie, RAM at HDD para di na ko mag reformat kasi may mga importanteng files ako.. magkakaron ba ng mga big issues kung ipipilit ko parin or just iinstall ko lang yung MOBO CDdrivers ng ASUS H110m? pa help beginner lang hehehe.

Dapat nilagay mo dito kung ano yung model ng mobo na sinasabi mo :noidea: para di ako manghuhula ng sagot :slap: anyways, maliit lang na portion ng mga currently circulating na am4 mobos ngayon ang may out of the box support for APUs. Malamang kelangan pa rin ng uefi/bios update :noidea:Ang advantage lang naman ng modular psu ay sa cable management :noidea: besides, you gave me a fixed budget to work with kaya i chose the best bang for the buck parts

ah i see pag nakita ko ule brand nya ehehe, diba yung modular pede sha i saksak direct s plug, yung iba kc need pa avr etc..

try to google modular PSU if you can't understand what i'm saying

pwede naman yan sir, but make sure you uninstall all drivers after booting and replace it all with the asus ones.

sa pagkakaalam ko, ang lalabas sa q2 ay yung 2nd gen ryzen series na successor ng current generation which will have a bump in clock speed. wala pa akong balita ng other batch of APU's so far unless you can provide me some link :noidea:
besides, he's asking for a build now and never asked if he should wait

But for you sir, mas better ba mag save up nalang muna?

paps , ung FORTRESS ba na case w/ 70o watss psu good quality ba un? good for gaming din ba? salamt po

in my opinion hindi good quality but pwede na rin, make sure lang meron kang AVR, pero may mga psu na binebenta naman for 500 pesos na surplus from japan and korea with efficiency rating na.
