I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Mga boss.. Pa advice naman magandang monitor.. Meron na kong napupusuan, ok kaya yung 18.5" na philips? sabi LED daw yun at HD 5.2k price nya..

Ako din gusto ko din yan dati.
Kaso nung nagpaadvice ako sa yahoo answers,
sabi nila ok lang naman daw pero
mas maganda daw yung nabili ko last month.
Samsung 18.5" SyncMaster B1930N.

Durability+Quality daw.

Kaso syempre mas maganda yung LED.
Ikaw choice mo yan e.

Nagagandahan ako.

Siguraduhin mo sir na kakasya yung length ng GTX460 sa casing mo :P tska ilang resolution gamit mo sir sa pag gaming? baka sayang lang yung lakas ng GTX460 pag mag SLI ka. unless 1600x1200 pataas gamit mo..pero ako i prefer HD6850 then saka mo i CrossFire kung halos pareho lang sila ng price

Gtx460 vs HD6850 para sa inyo alin ang mas ok.
Ok ba nag corsair na XMS3? wala kasi ako makita vengeance dito halos panay dominator ang binebenta eh ang mahal ng dominator.

bibili ako ng dvd burner(internal) SATA..
gusto ko kasi magburn ng mga movies especially ANIME.
ano po ba mgandang bilhin?

yung malinaw magburn.. yung indi pixilated

pa-advise naman ng Desktop 20-22k budget, for gaming sana. 24/7 nkabukas pero wala ako aircon hehehe..

maganda na rin yung linist mo for me HD6850 kung pinagcocompare is 1GB yung VRAM nya pero kung sa price, GTX460 768MB less P2k than 1GB verson kasi

Hi,

I'm hoping that someone can help me decide what to get. Medyo nagaalangan ako if i should buy a new cpu that can handle Win7 Ult OS (may sarili po akong licensed na retail version na di ko magamit dahil sa baba ng specs ng current kong pc) or laptop na lang.

20k lang ang budget ko (if things turn out well, baka ma raise ko sya sa 35k).

Eitherway, ang main concern ko is if its possible na makabili ng laptop na blank (so to speak kasi wala syang OS) at a discounted price and where.

If you feel na tagilid ang budget sa hinahanap ko or if imposibleng makabili ng brand new laptop na blank, pa-advise na lang po ng price for a cpu tailored to suit Win7 Ult and possibly a printer. I'll mostly be using it for gaming and torrent. And given my budget, kaya pa kayang magsingit ng lcd monitor na at least 15"?

Pwede yan tol.. Nakakuha kami nyan sa pchub nito lang.. 13k+ ata complete set na.. may LG 16" LED monitor na yan.. Emaxx yung mobo, athlon II 245 yung procie, 2gig team elite, 500gb WDC Blue HDD.. Basta nasa ganyan.. Kasha yan sa 13k+ basta bili ka muna LG LED 16" monitor tapos yung matitira ayan sa PC..

DIMM and video card capacity for gaming like dota, nba2k11, facebook games,
and for streaming po na modem or NIC..
sana ung minimum lang na kaya, kc student paqo,pagiipunan qupa..
pangupgrade lang po..
