I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Patulong po gusto ko sanang i-upgrade PC ko ito yung specefications:
Motherboard: ASUS p5sd2-vm>di ko po alam kung panu ito i-a-upgrade eh
Harddisk: isang 150 gb na STA: minsan po hindi sya nababasa, pinalitan ko na yung SATA cord, pero parang angloloose (tingin nyo ano po ba ito)... at may isa pa akong 40 gb na IDE na naging 30 gb nalang...di ko po alam kung anong nangyari eh..heheh
Memory: may 1gb addr2 ako at isang 250mb, magkasama...ano po bang magandang brand para sa memory?
VC: Nvidia Geforce 6200 LE, ano po bang maganda na vc para sa mobo ko?
processor: intel Celeron...gusto ko po sana tong palitan...ano po bang maganda?

Applications na gagamitin ko: gusto ko po sanang mag windows 7... Autocad, photoshop, at ilang games lang naman na di required yung mataas na graphic card specifications (di naman po kasi ako gamer)

Budget ko po: 7k to 12k po...
Kung may alam na rin po kayong store kug saan pwedeg makabili, malapit po ako Recto , kung anong shop na malapit sa Recto papuntang Monumento heheh

maraming mga computer shops na nag-offer ng pc packages with or without monitor...

kung gusto mo ang packages at swak sa budget mo, bilhin mo...

kung ayaw mo ng packages, select your preferred parts at ap-assemble mo sa tech...

bigyan ng tip ang tech para sa good karma...

are you regular user or overclocker?
planning to SLI?
bakit ka din magpapalit ng mobo?
ddr2 vs dd3 sa benchmark lang lamang pero sa real life halos hindi mo mararamdaman (sa ngayon) ..

Budget is 2-3k, willing naman mag-add if reasonably needed talaga.
Regular user po, di ko po alam mag-overclock.
No idea din po sa SLI, ano po ba un?
Ung processor ko po kasi na Intel E7400 di ata compatible sa mobo ko ngayon, kaya ung luma pa din gamit ko.
mas mura kasi ung ddr3, im planning din kasi na mag-upgrade from 2gb to 4gb. ddr2 po ung mga memory ko dito. 4 pcs. na 1gb un. balak ko sana ibenta ung 4 sticks to buy 2 sticks of 2gb kasi madalas 2 slots lang meron ang mga mobo.

nice plan dude kung mag DDR3 ka na so far most of the mobo sa stores yan na ang tinda, pero dude note mo lang kung mag papalit ka rin lang ng mobo idamay mo na pati procesor, ram, video card+psu kungdi useless lang gagawin mo. sa 2-3k na budget mo kaya kitang bigyan ng mobo with ddr3 compatibilities. pero kagaya ng sinabi ko kung mobo (motherboard) lang pag tutuunan mo ng pansin lalong mag kakaruon ng mga in-compatibilities sa mga system mo. eto suggest ko kung mag palit ka into ddr3 mobo u might go for quad core procesor as well, + a good video card and branded psu. ok naman saking ang core 2 duo jan din naman ako galing. hehehehe ang kaso mo magiging bottleneck lang para sa system mo yan. pero dude na sayo desisyon kung pang mobo lang talaga budget mo kaw bahala.

nga pala yung SLI means 2x graphics card power running on your system possible of same brand Crossfire for ATI brand SLI for Nvidia naman. pwede rin combination of ATI plus Nvidia kasi Nvidia palang nag rerender ng Physix features na need ng ibang games like batman and mirrors edge.... metro 2033 at alien vs predators. good luck dude!

antayin natin dumating ang Sandy Bridge dito sa Pinas (though hindi ako uodated kung what store nagbebenta ngayon dito)..pra masulit mo P75k

pa set up naman sir.. 22k lang budget 4 gaming.. (online games)

mas mabuti sir kung isave mo lang muna yung money mo para makabili ka ng malupet na upgrade...
mahirap din kasi kung mobo lang upgrade mo,
di mo rin masyado feel difference,
unless na lng kung OC ang reason mo ng pagupgrade
