I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

e, ano pong suggested nyo na brand po ng mobo, ser? Pinagpipilian ko ung ASUS o Gigabyte e. Ok din ba ung MSI? Suggestion nyo po?

sir ill go for Gigabyte! solid Jap. Capacitor ang mga yan. anu po ba balak nyong processor boss.? intel ba o amd?

- sir kung ipon mode ka pa lng I think you can wait for AMD bulldozer when the time comes (september) and the benchmarks are already out at least you get you're money's worth since most likely prices should go down at least...

pero kung bibili ka na intel's sandy bridge is recommended rather than going with AMD..

sa ngayon pwede ka maginvest sa mga high end mobo kung amd ka.
simula sa 880gm - pataas pero kung 880g yung kukunin mong board. iwas ka na sa asrock 880gm or yung 880g board na am3 socket lan, dahil meron nang available sa market na am3+ compatible 880g chipset.

Ung kuya ko kasi di nya mahanap kung saan ang pchub kaya sa IT building sya bumili ng power supply ko.

may mas maganda bang hdd na below 3k.

balak ko magbuo ng desktop pero hindi ko alam kung anong mga parts magandang bilhin kaya kaylangan ko po ng tulong nyo..

budget: (below 10k if possible) 10k-17k
usage: mostly gaming (online/local) pero gusto ko rin sana for gaming and entertainment

pa suggest na lang po ng magagandang parts..THANKS!

Don't worry about sa video card, since meron yang onboard ATI Radeon HD4200 sa Option A samantalang Geforce 7000 naman sa Option B sa quote ni sir acidbiscuit.

Also kaya din naman ang Photoshop CS5 sa mga onboards lalo gamit ko eh ATI Radeon HD3200 (780G)... Pero kung kaya mo mag-stretch ng budget for video card much better (unless kung gamer ka rin at plan mo maglaro ng high requirement games)...

Spec nila is core i3 sandy bridge, 2GB RAM and Nvidia 540M... So ok na rin on that budget... Pero kung yan lang ang purpose mo for the laptop, then laptops na worth 20k will do or get E-350 (Zecate dual core + AMD Radeon HD6310 + 2GB RAM and 320/500GB HDD) based laptops like:

Still wait mo na lang ang iba for the suggestions...

Pwede po ba etong GPU na to Power Color HD 6750 1gb/128bit ddr5 - 4620php sa MOBO na AsRockN68-S3 UCC?

Wala po kayong proproblemahin sa video card na yan since may backward compatibility naman siya sa PCI-e v2.0. Also ang alternatives mo diyan kung walang HD6750 is HD5750 since rebadge lang kasi siya.
