[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

hindi naman sa hindi na reccomended may ilang model na sablay yun average wattage nya... base naman sa na experience ko may time talaga na kahit anung ganda ng brand sumasablay pa din. :salute:

taasan mo din yun paging file or virtual memory.. check mo kung ilan yun recommended. Then i-multiply mo sya sa 1.5...yun lalabas na sagot. yun ang gawin mo initial size and maximum size ng paging file tapos reboot..

Kung hanggang dyan lang talaga ang budget mo sir Ok na yang HEC Rapter II 500W or pwede rin sir yung FSP Bluestorm 500W nasa 2,350 lang sya

Boss yan din binasa ko kanina sa EHOW,hindi p0h ba delicate ung pagagalaw nun..kasi nakita ko kanina meron sa bios ko na pangshare ata un tas ginawa ko sample muna is 64mb,tas pag rebo0t ko 32mb padin ang sa dxdiag ko :noidea:

posible p0h ba mashare ko RAM ko sa graphic card pag ginawa ko lakihan ung virtual memory?nid ko lang p0h talaga kasi wala pagasa magupgrade ako ng external vcard kasi wala slot pc ko

la ka naman dapat ikaalala since hindi naman mag oover sa limit ng voltage regulation mo yung specs na bubuoin mo para 550w na psu.as long as hindi stress out yung psu mo dun sa required wattage ng system mo, malayo ka sa issue. tsaka di natin masabi na lahat kasi alam ko by batch lang yung ganun, yung sakin ayus naman.

yung sa review kasi nung 700w may issue sa voltage regulation, "Starting at 560 W, voltages got outside their allowed range, what can make your computer behave erratically. nag conduct sila ng test ibig sabihin hindi recommend sa 700w kung tataas kapa sa 560w ang buong system wattage mo.maari itong sumabog or makasira ng mga hardwares mo.

salamat sa info. boss!, may specific model naman pala yung may issue i hope by batch nga lang, di affected lahat.

ibig sabihin dun sa 650w is hindi siya true rated :lol:

i dont agree with this. since AMD am3 are obselete na this days. palabas na sila and talong talo na ng Intel Sandy Bridge. For that price you can have a sandybridge na.

if lalagyan mo ng 6790 --- your range on electricity is around 200w while gaming. if lalagyan mo ng 6850 add 20w-30w on gaming.

(enabled ang v'snyc dito para capped ang frames to 60)

if di ka pa nakabili ng psu, i recommend the Antec TP550 @ 2500.
Modular na at 80+ bronze pa. no doubt its a bang for the buck.

again i dont agree with this. you mean amd processors dont have less power consumption??

AMD for some quite some time is the winner in idle and load consumptions. Look at radeon cards compare to geforce.

Talo lang on load consumption sa sandybridge, why? dahil 32nm na ang architecture ng sandy.

Hope you understand para sa mga nagtatanong hindi gawin maconfuse on amd and intel.

if you shared memory on video card, then your ram will be cut its memory.

ex. if you shared 128mb on videocard >> then 512mb(ram) - 128mb = 384mb ram.

then chances pa are, hindi din naman ganon kabilis ang effect ng memory shared graphics on games. kasi its not a dedicated memory. mga nasa 5%-10% lang ang gain mo. minus 5%-10% on performance of multitasking dahil nagcut ka ng ram.

since hec are now on a not-so-good place. nasa baba sila dahil sa reviews of cmx and rs that didnt pass.
since kahit ang rapter II, wala din printed true label ng 80+. at di mo macecertified ang hec sa site ng 80+.org

then chances are 50/50. eventhough i use a rapter II before, meron pa din naman iba na mura na ngayon na kayang kaya tapatan ang budget mo.

if you're not running a high end card, pedi na ang fsp bluestorm pro 400w @ 1800pesos (discount @ eton cyberpod for 1400pesos.)

if ayaw mo naman un, meron din antec tp550w @ 2500 pesos. for 500pesos you get a modular, 80+ bronze. not bad na.

also gigabyte superb550w pedi din.
madami pa iba, basta tingin tingin ka lang.

gawin nalang naten 15k ang budget mo. +5k for your monitor.

anyway, di po pede ang intense gaming nyo. pero bibigay nalang ako ng idea. at isantabi nalang muna naten ang videocard.
