Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

And if you are going to overclock it kailangan mo ng magandang hsf. :) kahit ilagay mo lang sa 4.0ghz. ok na ok na yun. safe na safe pa for 24/7.

570 reportedly na nasusunog, umiinit. pero syempre sa mga reference design yun. if non-reference baka wala na yung issue. pero if ako sayo stick to 560Ti and 2500k. since sabi mo nga youre only a HS student. you wont do benchmarking anyway. @_@

HSF -- heatsink fan.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

Powercolor 6850 1gb 255bit gddr5 - php 7530

sa specs na to
MSI 880 GMA E45
Phenom II 555 B.E
hec rapter II 500W
2x2gb kingston ddr3
500Hdd
generic case (upgrade to new cdrking gaming cases)

at mag add ng deep cool iced blade pro (soon)

ok ba yan sir villain?

d ko po na gets ung sinabi nyo ? ^_^

what does it mean po??

Sobrang Okay na panglaro ng high demand games in max settings or Need ko pa ng mga Mamahaling Pc parts ?

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

sir, does the Sapphire HD6790 1gb/256bit ddr5 fit with Antec TP550w or should i get 650w?

i'm considering Seasonic (S12EP) 650watts 80PLUS Bronze @ PHP 3740.00, FSP 600watts Epsilon series, 80PLUS -@3,130 and XFX 650watts Pro Core Edition, 80PLUS @ PHP 4180.00

Depende sa resolution na gagamitin mo & monitor. Kung gamit mo below 20'' with a 1440x900 resolution sa cysis 2 with a video card like Nvidia gtx 560 ti, safe to say na pwede mo imax setting un and mag reach ng 60 fps.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

Budget is around 20-25k.

We're here lang po to help you to be a wise buyer. para yung pera na sobra pede ilaan sa ibang parts. or pede isave in future upgrades.

yup ok na ok yan. on hsf, pede na ang coolermaster 212+. same performance, pero cheap on price.
btw, on mobo, i have that mobo before. wag mo i-OC. :)
look at the cpu support list sa msi, it can only supports 95w.
pero your processor pag naka unlock, 125w na yan.

kaya easy lang on mobo.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

kasi lga 775 aka core2 are obsolete na. as in OLD na..

core2duo and 560ti is bottleneck.:)

Nope. No facts or no basis na mainit ang amd sa intel. or vice versa.

Ang pinagkaiba -- Intel has a major impact on market due to alot of ads. tapos laptop manufacturers and desktop oem are likely to win intel's heart. pero this was way back 2006-2010. (dualcore/core2duo/core2quad) and to the benchies of 1st gen i3/i5&i7 to a whooping OC 5.0ghz @ air of sandybridge.

On the other hand -- the time when AMD wins is when 2001-2005 (athlon x2, or BE series/1st 64bit processors) this was the time that AMD beats intel. To date, from 2006 AMD is lacking performance due to new technology of Intel. So what AMD does is the so-called 'price per performance'.

To date, am3 processors -- still.. up until now can be advise because of cheaper prices. they were at the entry level and mainstream desktop.
on Intel processors (1155) -- they are now king of the hill. They belong to the enthusiast.

Future: am3+ will be coming out next month or 2months. AMD said it can have the same performance of sandybridge. (hopefully yes, so we can have a CPU war)

On netbooks and laptops, nowadays APU designed by AMD is winning at this. Why? because the gpu is in the cpu. and the tdp is lower or same as atom but better performance.

thank you very much sir..

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

@naobi

@benedick134

case, pili ka nalang for 2k-3k case.
This is a balance build for non-OC users. pag binaba mo ang mobo jan, you sacrificing the mosfets and nb. Pag bumili ka ng murang mobo, mahihirapan ang mobo for the 2300. and for the ram, you need atleast 4gb para hindi bottleneck ang processor. for the videocard, you can play latest games on this. On PSU, this is the important part. Pag binaba mo to, or try to use a generic psu. then your risking everything.

Hopefully you get this built. Thanks.

My built above is greather than this. Magkano po ba ang real budget mo. As in real.:)
San mo pala galing ang built na to? Wheres the graphics card? tapos its 2600k, tapos yung psu is generic anyway.
Before you buy, read my pass 10 post. Ill wait for your budget para mas malinaw. Thanks

I dont recommend the Hec Rapter II nowadays, eventhough I use it before. Sa price na 2k, mas madami ka pa makukuha na well built and real facts are at 80+ site. Ex. FSP Bluestorm Pro @ 500w, or the best bang of the buck AntecTP550 @ 2500. <this is made by seasonic.
For your built, get the RipjawsX 1600, why? Sandybridge mobo is happy at higher frequency.

Try this one:
cpu, Intel i3-2100 3.1ghz - 5400
mb, lga1155, Asrock H61M/U3S3 - 3460
ram, G.Skill RipjawsX 1600CL9 2x2gb ddr3 - 2160
vga, Sapphire 6770 1gb/128bit ddr5 - 5300
psu, FSP Blue Storm Pro 500W 80+ - 2100
hdd, WDC Blue 500gb Sata3 - 1795
mon, 18.5" LG (E1941T)LCD, LED - 4500
k/m, A4tech Combo - 400

= 25115

case, hanap ka po ng 2k-3k. You can see CoolerMaster, NZXT, Aerocool or Thermaltake.

additional: add odd for 950.

Less than 30k ang budget mo.
