Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

wala pa naman po akong gpu sa bibilihin ko, saka meron naman po atang hindi 6 pin yung power connector noh? (ung FSP 400 na muna para medyo tipid..) salamat ulit!

If I where to build a new rig i would buy this

ATX Casing plus PSU na Cooler Master (both are branded)
Cooler Master (RC-371-KKN1) Elite 371, 460W PSU

-- May PSU na at cooler master pa ang casing for 2800 i think

Nga pala if your planning to buy a video card that is more than 5k
That set up of yours is ok as this build might require a higher power

salamat sa pagsagot sir! ang concern ko lang kasi is baka may specific na brand or watts na needed sa build na yan, pero since you mentioned na ok na kahit yung replacement ko e ok napo. nakita ko rin po yan case na post mo, at malaki nga ang matitipid ko! okay rin kaya yung kasama nyang PSU? baka generic lang kasi at wala pang 500 watts, baka di kayanin ang build. thanks po ulit!

Sir IMO

Your build is not balanced, you got a powerful CPU with a medium ranked video card.

Well if you have the budget please change your video card to

at least with 256 bit DDR5. These are video cards priced more than 8k.


For PSU, sorry I have not used Antec. IMO marami pong mas better branded PSU like HEC, Corsair etc.

If I were you

I would get

Sapphire Radeon 1gb HD 6870 ddr5 (256bit) pcie PHP 9500 plus i3 2100 CPU


Its more powerful in combination than

i5 plus GTS 450

That is if your budget is limited.

But if you have a lot good luck then

Sir Kung gagamitin mo ang Fusion tech ng AMD (which is built in sa LLano core) i think ok na po ito.


But if you will buy a dedicated powerful video card (Priced more than 5k)better buy a case (for example the gigabyte which ever you like just as long na may fan holes near the video card) and buy a PSU (HEC, Corsair etc.)

pahinge din po ng specs for AMD and intel budget is 15k for cpu lang...at yung pwede ko rin ma upgrade sa latest pag may pera na ako 15k lang po kasi budget ko ngayon..for GAMING po...

ill choose the lighting. why? kasi mas flexible ang voltages nya. its 100v-240v. kaysa sa hexa na 200-240 lang.

dont go for coolermaster and dont go for hec. since di pa nabawi ng hec ang reputation nila sa hardware secrets.
you can go for fsp, or ocz. or antec tp550 kung makakahanap ka.

you can change your psu if you have budget to 650w.
fyi, if you open up the antec true power, you'll see a seasonic lying there. if wala ka mahanap na antec, then go for seasonic or you can go for xfx nalang. (same as seasonic)


for the gpu, since sa tingin ko meron ka naman budget, then stretch your wallet to evga 560 non-ti. pero if may bucks pa, then go for the Ti.
if gusto mo makatipid, then palitan mo ung mobo mo to asrock p67 extreme. my friend got it 5.5ghz on air with that asrock and 2500k. which means that board is halimaw.

Toshiba. any toshiba brand is a quality build
pero if hanap mo talaga specs, ill still go for AMD Zacate. Since mura na pero kaya makipagsabayan sa i5.

I'm not sure if disk size/capacity plays a role/factor when it comes to bottlenecks (well, probably this is true only kung halos puno na ang drive). Ang mas mahalagang tinitingnan, kung hindi ako nagkakamali, is yung data transfer rate (speed ng pag-transfer ng data), since ito yung sinusukat sa pag-benchmark and hindi naman yung size/capacity. This is the reason why Western Digital hard drives now have different types (Caviar Black, Blue, or Green). Black, if I'm not mistaken, focuses on performance (data transfer speed). Green means "eco friendly" so ang focus nito is more on energy efficiency. And then Blue is somewhere in between. Not sure if there are these kinds of hard drives for laptops/netbooks though.

Are you asking about brand, or type of RAM?

For brands: I use G.Skill (although Intel processor ako). Corsair is also good but expensive.

Kung type of RAM, depends on your motherboard (DDR2 ba or DDR3).

Kung capacity, iba-iba yan, depending on your needs.
