I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

based sa experience ko di pwede compare ang amd sa intel kasi may kanya kanyang unique feature yan mga yan, like sa amd may hidden cores so yun ang masarap na part sa kanya 100 to 200% ang maboboost mo sa performance without spending hundreds of dollars, dalawa rig ko intel i7 platform and amd phenom II x6 platform, both of them is great i dont see any enormous difference between the two cpus sa benchmark lamang ng konti si i7 kay phenom pero in reality mas halimaw si phenom kahit na mas high specs mga nakaintall na parts sa i7 rig ko naka post yung i7 rig ko dito yung may picture balak ko nga ibenta.. hehe..

sir advise lang ha, dapat ikaw ang magbuo ng rig mo its the first step of learning sa hardware ng pc mo madali lang refer ka lang sa handlets and instructions mga dapat tandaan:

1. ingat sa static, wag naka-paa discharge mo muna static sa body mo, dont wear any metal accessories,
2. dont use magnetic tools and screw drivers
3.always use surgical silicone gloves,
4. secure small parts and screws,
5. DO NOT MODIFY, OPEN, EXPOSE THE POWER SUPPLY OF YOUR COMPUTER mahirap makuryente,,hehe

nakita ko nga sir sa benchmark wala halos pinagiba ang phenom x4 sa i5... dapat pala talaga maganda yung video card kasi may gpu rendering sa 3ds max eh....natatakot ako sa pagbuo hehehe pwede ba ipabuo sa bibilan yan??? may bayad kaya? hehehe...

sir wala pa palang odd yung inadvice mo sakin eto yun oh:

memory: g.skill ripjaws 2x2GB ddr3 1600MHZ! cl9 = 1,500

monitor: (need mo na high-res na monitor sa pageedit ng graphics mind you hindi ka masisiyahan sa 1366x768 na resolution need mo atleast 1080p or pataas.. kaya ito masususggest ko:

1. AOC 21.5 LED 1080p e2240VW = 7,300
2. DELL ST2220L 21.5inch Led Monitor 1080p = 7,500
3. AOC 21.5-inch Led wide E2236VW with USB = 6,500 eto ginamit ko sir

casing: any decent casing without psu.. stick ka muna sa generic type or kung may budget ka take Thermaltake V4 Casing (2,250)

KBM: A4tech bundled = 600

P31250 na siya nung sinama ko yung odd na 950.. pwede ba sir pa setup ulit ako? medyo baguhin mo sir yung iba pede kaya 18.5inch LED na lang at iba pang casing??? Pasensiya na sir if paulit-ulit...gusto ko na yung phenom x4 sir mapasok mo lang sa loob ng 30k or kahit lumagpas hanggang 30.5k lang

teka boss anung application ba rurun mo? impostante ba sayo yung dx11 or ok na sayo yung dx10.1

eto wag mo na pakawalan ito, 2,800 lang sulit ka dito:

okay lang kahit medium settings lang sa games, walang problema dun. Balanced naman siguro yun kahit papaano. Aanhin mo naman ang High Settings kung panay takbo, hagis at baril ginagawa mo sa COD at BF. Lol Joke

Madalas kong gamit na applications ay Google Earth Pro at AutoCAD Map 3D. Habol ko kasi yung High End Image Resolution. Pero kahit malinaw lang yung picture at kita ang mga bahay , okay na sa akin yon.

imbis na phenom II x4 955be ito nalang athlon II 450 3.2 ghz pag naulocked mo sya magiging phenom II x4 b40 3.6ghz! =3,500 lang ito so tipid kana agad ng 2K!!!!!! assstteeeegg!!

sir wala kang dapat ikatakot sa pagunlock dahil napakasimple lang nun asus ba yung nasabi ko na mobo? may unlocking power yun kaso complicated magunlock sa bios pa kasi yung tweak palitan mo nalang nito:

ASROCK 880GM-LE ganto lang magunlock, set up mo pc mo ng windows 7 64bit kasi you will install 4gb of memory diba then pag ok na lahat boot mo pc mo sa keyboard press mo lang yung letter "x" kapag lumabas na yung asrock logo, thats it! unlocked na yung athlon II x3 to Phenom II x4!! dont buy athlon II x2 di syan unlock-able natry ko na dapat x3 talaga (note kapag naulock mo na yung hidden core you dont have to press X again and again one time lang po, pwede mo din sya ibalik sa default thi time press letter "d" naman..

asrock 880gm-le 2,800 lang tipid ka nanaman ng 1k!!! 3k na natipid mo! pameryendahin mo ko ha.. hehe

maintenance issue, ito na tayo, ang dami nattakot bumili ng amd sabi nila madali daw uminit, siguro yung mga dating amd pero ngayon sir 45nm die size nalang ang athlon II and phenom II so mas matipid sa power 95watts only, kung mati[id sa power mas less ang heat.. stock hsf will do the job to cool down your cpu.. idle temp is 32 degrees celcius loaded temp naman is 52 deg cel, mas malamig pa sya compared sa i5!!! and nakalimutan ko sabihin yung mga amd procie may feature na cool and quiet napaka importante itong feature na ito na-inlove ako dito kasi pag idle ang pc mo nagseselfadjust sya ng frequency, voltage at phases, kaya nakakatipid kana sa power di pa nastress procie mo which can result to deterioration ng core.. halimbawa nag susurf ka lang sa net kung ang default frequency ng cpu mo is 3.6ghz and the voltage is 1.36v tapos yung mobo mo may 5 phases hindi yun sagad sagaran tatakbo lang ng 800mhz, 1.00v and 2 power phase so malaking tipid sa kuryente yun, kung loaded naman dun palang hahataw yung maximum power and capabilities ng buong system.. AMD...

sana makatulong ako sayo master..

salamat sir dun sa bago mong binigay na setup ok na sakin yung 30.1k pero sir related sa sinabi mo sa taas ganyan din ba ang pagunlock sa phenom x4? if palitan ko ng mobo imbis asus, asrock na lang? parang natemp ako na gusto ko maging 6core yung phenom ko o dapat huwag na palitan yung mobo na binigay mo na asus due to compatibility issue?
hanggang ilang RAM kya ko pwede i-upgrade sir yung binigay mong set-up? hanggang 12gb kaya pwede? o hanggang 8gb lang?and kung asrock naman hanggang ilan din?

patulong sa nakakaalam ng new config sa hotspot shield using globe di ako makakonek kaya naglegitimate user muna ako para mareplyan mga katanungan nyo sa pagbuo ng computer hirap pag nagloload lang eh,, sa mga nakakaalam ng bagong config pm nalang po ako para di narin kumalat yung bagong tweak madami kasi nagbebenta ng lantaran eh kaya nakakahanap ng solution ang globe para matigil si HSS

25K? Hm, based sa quotation umabot siya ng 26.5K...bale 1.5K na lang ang kakaltasin...if you can go without a CD drive for the meantime, then wag ka muna bumili. Also puwede ring tirahin mo naman ang savings sa storage space (HDD). Sa quotation niya eh 500GB na storage. Kung ikaw yung tipong laging "on-the-go" (meaning mahilig mag-travel at gusto mo lagi mong kasama ang data/files mo), then puwede namang mas maliit na storage space, tapos pag may budget kang extra bili ka ng external drive. Para ang bibilhin mong hard drive eh yung mas maliit nang kaunti sa 500GB.

phenom x2 ka na 556 be tapos unlock mo sa phenom x4 kasi ang athlon 1.5 cache lang ang phenom 6mb cache malaking bagay ang cache.. same price lang naman... ok na yung 6750 katumbas ng gts450 yan kaso need mo rated psu madami sa tpc 2nd hand psu worth 1200-1.5k basta 550watts pataas ok na.. sa brand naman basta kilala ok na rin..
