[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

question po. i am only running an athlon II x2 (2.9) on my PC with 2GB DDR2 of RAM. using a generic 500W PSU as well. is it okay to use a 6670 dd3 on this setup?

follow-up: do i really need to get a true-rated PSU to use the card? and matching a DD3 VGA with a DDR2 RAM, would it even mean anything po?

Technically po, compatible naman ung card sa rig nyo, kaso po it is always advised to upgrade to a True-Rated (branded) PSU pag mag uupgrade po kayo ng Video Card.. Delikado po kasi gamitin mga generic PSU lang, kaw din, bka magsisi ka.. :P

About the ram naman, it doesn't matter kung DDR2 or DDR3 ang ram mo, as long as compatible ang mobo mo sa video card gagana po yan. .Pero xempre, the higher the ram the better the perfromance overall.. Tsaka, mas mura kasi DDR3 compared sa DDR2, kaya if you go for DDR3 you get more performance for lesser cost..

yung motherboard hindi compatible sa processor mo ..
intel 775 yung board amd procie mo ..
also why VX-9 pro ? to expensive ..
may NZXT 210 Elite naman ..

sir, yung mobo di compatible sa procie...tsaka mas maganda kung dalawang memory para magdual channel
try this:

Asrock 880GM-LE = P3000
2x 2GB Corsair DDR3 1333 = P1200
PC HD6570 1gb ddr3 128bit = P3450
kaya lang naging mahal ng unti......

Mga, boss, patulong naman, pa build naman ng cpu mga mababa pa sa 10k ung budget , khit mbaba specs, khit dualcore na AMD tas 1gig na ram, walang rom, mga nasa 100 lang ung hardisk, tas gendric lang psu, . .for ano lng po mga photoshop works lang, .wala tight lang po kc ung budget, . gusto ko sanang mag-upgrade ng PC pa-suggest naman yung mga ipapalit kong parts.... mga 25k budget ko pero pa-arrange simula dun sa pinakaimportanteng component...
