[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

hindi ko po kasi alam kung anu mga supported ram ng aking motherboard asus p5vd2-vm-se.
667 yung current ram nya. nahihirapan naman ako bumili ng 2nd hand na mura. may ibang ram na pede ba?

Baka mag christmas sale ang mga computer shops sir.. Dito kasi samin 2,300+ pa rin ang price ng NZXT Source eh..

Mas astig sana ung Lexa S Steel. .Kaso mahal :P

number of physical cores, speed and transistor count.

Actually, there are another 5 ways to know how to determine a processor's speed. I gave you the best ideas above how to know a processors speed.

If you are willing to know the rest of the 5, let me know. I'll give it a shot.

Higher wattage means higher consumption of electricity. magastos yan sir sa kuryente. mas okay na yung 30 watts up na processor, ikatitipid pa ng kuryente mo.

ano po ba yung hyper transport??? kasi yung mobo ko sa taas 2,000 mt??? yata yung hyper transport niya.... e yung processor ko ehh mas mataas pa jan yung kaya niya.... so worth ba yung mobong yan para sa processor ko?????

PSU bro, generic PSU mo e. buy atleast 500w of true rated PSU's. after that, go for GPU naman.

140w TDP doesnt mean 140w ang power consumption nito ..
TDP ay yung HEAT na kaya niyan saluhin ..

HEAT ng PC ay sinusukat din in WATT (watt is a unit for energy)
even the PSU , watt din ang HEAT na binubuga niyan ..
kaya sana wag mag mislead ng ibang tao ..
