I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Magtatanong lang poh kung may advice/recommendations kau ng 10k+ laptop.

Mainly for office use poh.

ang hanap ko po ay ung mataas na CPU,RAM at bat, wala na poh ako paki kung mababa ang VCard since d ko nmn poh i-gaming.

Mainly will be used for MSOffice applications,Foxpro 9.0,VB 6.0.

Will be attaching projector for presentation purposes.

Sana po may mkatulong.

At xenxa poh kung sa maling thread ako.

mga ka SB try nu bagong APU mas makakatipid tayo... CPU + GPU =APU


parang bumili ka lng ng cpu na my 50% less sa isang GPU...

Kahit po hindi pang gaming basta ba magagamit na sa mga photo editing, lalo na po sa cs5 photoshop,. Advice nyo naman po ako anu maganda at kaya ng budget ko na 6k, TIA po

Bakit po mura sya kesa sa EVGA GTX 560 Ti DS?
P 12,290 yung Sapphire HD 6950, habang ang GTX 560 Ti DS P 12,750..

EVGA = premium brand.

Ipon ka pa konti if gusto mo magphotoshop. GPU intensive ang Photoshop CS5. So please please, always prioritize videocard para di kawawa ang mga desktop.

maganda din ba amd? anu katumbas ng amd sa icore?

Yes compatible mga radeon sa mga Intel motherboard. Best alternative for the 580 is the 7950 of Radeon.

If di ka pa bibili now and mga next month palang, im sure mag mamature na ang prices at mag stable na. Now kasi kakalabas palang so expect higher starting point prices.

Eventhough di ka nag-games doesnt mean you dont need a videocard. 4years ago meron ako laptop, maganda ung processor but yung graphics card is Intel945. Then nagppressent ako ng powerpoint na madami animations. Then kahit ganon di pa din nakakaya ng laptop.

Mind you, nowadays we're shifting to Graphics card intensive applications. Example given: BROWSER. Nowadays lahat ng browser is getting the GPU acceleration. Which means in time, the GPU will be more powerful than the CPU. (example na din mga Nvidia Tegra 2 on Tablets, the GPU is much higher than the CPU)

For 15k, may mabibili kang AMD APU netbook, na meron C-series processor. Pero if meron ka pa budget you can opt for the E-series netbook processors na nasa 20k.

For sure mas mahaba ang life span kasi APU have the CPU-GPU on one die.

if those two hdd's are 2nd hand, hindi ka na lugi.
Buy ka muna ng true-rated psu. a 500w like FSP or antec VP can do its job.
