Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.


An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

^NO! di nga po pede ang h61 sa 2500k.

If mag h61 ka, mag i3-2100 ka nalang. plus add ka nalang ng magandang videocard.

Sa enigma ka bibili? Kilala ko ung manager sa enigma. Pede ka mag pre-order sa kanya ng gusto mong p67 na asrock.

kahit ano gawin mo di pede ang h61 sa 2500k.

2500k can only perform overclocking sa p67/z68 motherboard.

Mag pre-order ka nalang. OR mag i3-2100 ka nalang. Then add 7770 sa videocard.

Sa PSU if sa enigma, Hec Rapter II lang available sa kanila.


Listen to my advices else your money will go to waste.

My best bet will be i3-2100 + h61 motherboard + 7770 videocard.

^supported pero di mo pede ioverclock.

K series para lang sa p67 and z68.

Lower platforms are h67 and much lower is h61.

Remember that i5-2500k is a very good overclocker. Kaya mo ipaabot ng 4.5ghz at stock voltage. So aanhin mo ung 'k' variant kung di naman supported ng motherboard mo? And take note: kung ipipilit mo man ioverclock using fsb. Sunog naman ang board mo.

Pa Help naman pumili ng magandang graphic card para sa Unit ko as of now kasi built in graphic card lang gamit ko...

ito po SPECS ng Unit ko:

Board: GeForce6100PM-M2
OS: Windows XP SP3
RAM: 3gig kingston low profile ddr2
Processor: AMD Athlon x2 245
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 700W
HDD 80gig


budget ko po ay 3k-3.5k

2nd hand gt250. Enough na un para hindi mag bottleneck sa processor mo.

pede din ung gt440. pero much better na ung 2nd hand 250/450.

Any brand, pag 2nd hand prefer ko palit. Hanap ka lang ng may distro warranty.

Gagana nga yan kaso wag ka nga lang mag OC. As advised by bossing villain delikado magOC sa budget mobos. Kung gusto mo talaga yung i5 2500 wag na lang yung may K para tipid. Kaso wala ka graphics card. Maglalag yan.

Well kahit na hindi na natin isipin yung detailed na technicalities nyan, unang tingin pa lang eh hindi na balanced yan. As you have said i7 2600 is high end but the rest of your parts is for mid to low end builds. Hahatakin lang ng ibang parts mo yung performance ng i7 dahil bottleneck yung ibang parts mo.
