Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.


An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Yes, mas madali iupgrade yan kesa dun sa APU setup. Pwedeng pwede ka mag GTS 450 although mas okay pag mag dagdag nalang ng onti at mag HD 6770 or HD 7750 ka na.

nalilito na tuloy ako ksi sabi ng iba mas maganda pang.gaming yung AMD na processor. .

Sir, pinakitaan na kita ng link na may benchmarks. Kung yung "iba" na yan walang quantifiable data na maipapakita then wag ka maniwala mga fan boys lang ng AMD yan.

Sa panahon ngayon walang katumbas ang AMD pag dating sa processor ng Intel.

Do your own research, wag ka makinig sa mga sabi sabi lang ng walang data.

This is more balanced. Function before looks hehe.

- He can change the casing kung may iba syang gusto for the same price.
- Kung gusto nya mag LCS he can replaced the one currently above with an added cost.
- Kung gaming lang mas okay yung HD 7850 OC with a lower power consumption compared sa 560 Ti.
- Kung kaya pa magdagdag, change the mobo to ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 PHP 7100.00.

saan ba may malapit na murang tindahan ng mga PC accessories/peripherals at PC components sa Laguna? Madami ako nakikita pero mga small time retailer lang sila. konti lang mga choices na pedeng pagpilian.. Puro mga mabababang specs pa or puro generic ang tinda.

baka may alam kayo...

Generally, pagdating sa manufacturers nagkakatalo lang yan pagdating sa price at warranty which you choose if 1) pasok sa budget mo and 2) if mas madali ang access sa warranty. It boils down kung ano preference mo.

PowerColor usually provides the cheaper prices of AMD GPUs. Pero nasa availability din yan hehe.

Case to case basis parin, muka lang siguro ako fan boy ng PowerColor :D

Its the other way around, bigay ka budget tapos try natin gawan ng setup.
