[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

mga boss.. ito yung price list ng tindahan ng comp dito samin.. overprice ba? palagay ko kc over price.. kc sa mga advice ng mga kasymb ntin dto mag TRINITY na daw ako sa budget kong 15k.. kaso pag dto ko binili smin LLANO lang bagsak ko..

... Sir kasi sa list mo wala kang FM2 motherboard , kaya di ka pwede mag Trinity procei . Pero maganda ang Trinity procei . Kaya if you like order mo nalang procei at mobo mo ...

Sir, Eto po sakin... 20 k budget


Processor: quad core or core 2 quad dunno which is better..?
Motherboard: anything.. but i prefer one which is for heavy duty usage like for 18 hours usage a day...
RAM: I think 3 or 4 gb.

Video Card: is 1 gb. of V. card is enough for new games like Assassins Creed 2k13..?

Hard Drive: 500 gb. plus the extra of 160. for saving the o.s. and other stuff...
Optical Drive: dvd write.

Power Supply: for heavy duty usage din po...
Casing: anything basta maganda ung ventilation..

monitor: 17 i guess

Accessories:led lights?

And by the way sir.. may offer po kaC sakin... 12k core 2 quad package deal..and i'm not really sure sa hard disk size palagay ko OK na po un kaya.. lang wla nga lang v. card tanung n lang din po ako bka maka save ako and since i had a 20 k budget..

We don't recommend pre-built packages here paps.

please advice me what are pc set up for gaming, internet and programming? my budget is 25k.

Unit lang? Saan mo plano bumili?

ano ba meron sa PSU(power supply)? bkt sinasabi minsan na hindi kya? shortage of power ba ngiging problema?

Mga tao lang na may generic PSU nagkakaproblema nyan. A true rated 350W psu will even work for the average setup.

how about FSP Hexa 500w 80plus?

okay din ba performance ng PSU na to? FSP din kasi may gawa eh.

sa mga users nito, okay ba performance nito?

Games to be played: Dragon Nest and Wild Star
Movies: HD

Eto po ung specs na hinahanap ko (Processor ko po is given na)

Processor: Intel i3-3220 3.3Ghz 3mb Smart Cache.

Motherboard: Any dual channel po and heavy duty.

RAM: 2x po ng 8GB RAM.

Video Card: Preferably HDMI or basta kaya mag run ng mga games indicated above.

Hard Drive: 500GB lang ok nako dun.

Power Supply: D ko sure kung ilang watts, ung compatible lang dun sa mga specs.

Casing: Anything na mejo maliit ang size and maganda ang ventilation.

Note: Meron na po akong Monitor, Printer, Mouse and other stuffs needed. System Unit lang po talaga need ko. Thanks.

Tinipid naman yung mobo ng sobra hehe. It won't even work out of the box dahil H61 yan.

PSU can be changed, marami pa mas ok dyan for the same budget.

Everything else is OK.

Actually entry level lang yan for today's standards

Yung video card can handle up to 1080p sa recent games.

like anong games? SURE po ba kayo? di pa po ba nito kya mga mid end pati yung mga nilalaro kadalasan sa shop like dota/dota2 ragna online, special force,tantra,ran gta, dragon nest nba2k12??

Pang low resolution nga, meron pa po ba ililinaw sa sinabi ko hehe. Built-in graphics lang yung setup mo. Mga laro tulad ng dota, ragnarok, and ibang old school online games kayanin naman. Di naman demanding yung mga ganung laro. Pero kung tipong recent games tulad ng BF3, Crysis 2/3, gagapang yan.

Ibig sabihin pag inassemble mo na yan after mo tanggalin sa box di pa yan gagana. Yung mobo kailangan ng update para mabasa yung processor.

mga sir ano best gpu pra sa 4000 hanggang banatin ko hnggang 5000 na budget mostly png gaming tiaka for editing tiaka basic software studying ewan ko lang po comp. engineering kc ako 1st yr plng ung dun po sa mga xperts dian tnong ko nrin po qng mkk2long ang own pc pra sa pg aaral ng kors ko amateur plng kc ako sa mga gnito.. !!

Hello. I want a brand new laptop. It will be used for programming and some statistical softwares. I am not really good in choosing the best features but my budget would be 50K to 80K. Please suggest which brand and model I should choose. Thank you very much.

PS: I am not into gaming and stuff but I want it as much as possible to have a clear audio, good video graphics and it must be lightweight. Any suggestions will be gladly appreciated. Thanks alot Symbianizers.
