[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Sir Janzzon, okay ba ang gnitong setup, pra sa kaibigan lng. o may mas titipid pa? yung same performance ang makukuha.

30k budget may build na katumbas lang ng ginawa mo pero depende sa pagkukunan mo ng components.

since yan ang motherboard and processor mo,limited ka sa upgrade ng procie syempre,
LGA 775 for Intel and socket ng board mo,and ito mga processors na supported nya..Core™ 2 Extreme / Core™ 2 Quad / Core™ 2 Duo

ganyan rin halos setup ko,e4500 nga lang..and what happened is,nagpalit ako ng board and procie,kasi halos wala ng upgrade path yan..unless willing ka to buy 2nd hand processors..


pa-correct nlng po kung may mali mga masters..just trying to help..

AMD platform/20k below/makapag dota (RGC/Garena) at nba 2k13 ok na ako

at anung video card ang pasok sa budget pero ok pang gaming, around 2k lang

parang bumili ka na din ng bagong laptop nun

kaya bili ka na lang ng bagong laptop hehe

toyo kasi ng laptop ko eh. nagloloko yung sa video kahit saksakan ng monitor sa vga. sabi dun sa acer service center half ng price ng laptop <_<

ano na bang brand ng laptop yung matibay? kung sakali papabili n lng ako ng notebook na i3.

Mga sir need advise regarding sa balak kong setup. Totoo po bang pwedeng mag increase ng base clock ang mga Asrock Z77 chipset ng mga non-K variant na mga processor?

Here's my planned build for games like BF3, COD Black Ops 2, video conversion and casual browsing.

CPU: i5-3570
MB: Asrock Z77 Pro4-M
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB ddr3 1600Mhz 2x4gb
GPU: GTX 650Ti
ATX: Corsair carbide 300r/ Cougar AF-2

Balak ko po kasing i-OC in the future ang processor of up to 0.4Ghz above its turbo frequency since may feature pala ang mga Asrock Z77 chipset to overclock non-k variant processor. So bale magiging 4.2Ghz ang base clock nya. Correct me if i'm wrong mga sir if i misunderstood the whole concept of Asrock No-K OC Technology.

Btw, what i have right now is a Seasonic M12II 520W psu, ODD, 500Gb HDD and a 18.5" monitor with 1366X768 resolution.

tama master ganyan din setup ko e.. nag upgrade na ako ng board so ddr3 na gamit ko mem. and nag upgrade na rin ako to p.dualcore to core2duo.. pero kung may budget talaga palitan na lahat hehe,,

just helping lang hehe
