[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

last na paps yung gagamit ng pc na yan 24/7 kung maka gamit pero not really into gaming. torrent , download and surfing laang.. san ko pwede lagyan ng cooler in case??para di pumalya cpu?

i plan to start a pc rental business dito sa village namin at meron akong friend na binebenta yung pc nya sa akin..

eto po yung specs nya..

amd sempron 2.2ghz
2gig ram 800mhz
320gb hardisk
512mb 64bit sparkle videocard
17 inches lg lcd

6500 po nya binebenta sa akin.

ok na po ba yan sa price nya at kung ipapa rent ko yang pc na yan ok na ba ang speed nyan sa gaming?

Btw, 'Yung build na walang GPU, ay 9600gt ang ilalagay. (extra ko)
Monitor Reso: 1024x768 (planning to upgrade soon)

Lstly, Totoo ba na makakatipid ka kung sa Gilmore ka bibili compared sa mga branch nila sa mall? If yes, then go ako sa Gilmore

EDIT: Kung di tlga kaya pra sa ganong build sa itaas. pa recommend nlng ng pinaka tamang build pra sa gnyang tight budget.

bossing tanung lang pu kung panu mu malalaman kung ang motherboard pu ay genuine. May nabili pu kasi kami ala pa pung 1month no display na agad. Pati din pu powersupply. Magkanu din kaya price? For general purpose lang naman.

More than playable dahil ang baba lang naman ng resolution na gamit mo.

This is what you need and not what you want. Bahala ka na kung susundin mo to or hindi.

Search "HD 7540D" sa youtube para may idea ka how this will perform sa gaming. Sa resolution mo you should be able to max those 2 games without problems.

usage: surfing, some games like nba2k13, nfs,
pati mga online games gaya nung dragonest or
same games. kaya magrun ng apps like
autocad, ps, yung pang rendering gaya ng
power director, CE student kasi.

Sir pa suggest naman ng build budget is 25k with monitor prefer Intel sa proc then Gigabyte sa mobo yung usage mainly sa programming,photo editing gaming(SF2/Resident Evil/AC/Dota 2) thanks

Saan ka bibili paps.

Sir may bibigay na video card yung kaibigan ko sakin, hd 7770, msi b75 yung board ko, fsp hexa power supply, yung monitor ko D-Sub lang, gagana ba kung gagamitin ko yung DVI to D-Sub na adapter?

kaya din kaya ang 8GB? effective kaya. di msyado familiar. willing to stretch the budget naman khit papano.

You expect too much sa budget mo, be realistic paps.

It's best na itodo mo na yung budget na willing mo gastusin. Hehe pauulit ulitin mo pa ako e.

at magkano po magagastos ko dito? ito kasi mga gusto kung bilhin

Naghahanap ako pang AMD FX 6300 kung magkanu?? then magkanu ung magandang motherboard na din then wat psu need po... mga budget ko 10k sa motherboard at processor ee kaya po ba?

Pahelp naman po sa build. Medyo Tight budget lang. Mainly for programming like java, php, vb and others. For games like 2k13 and Dota 2.

Budget po is 16k whole set na po.

And ano pong brand ng printer ang maganda at medyo abot kaya. For home use lang po.
