Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

In this case, if I add an extra hard disk drive and a casing, the price will jump to around 65k right? (Which sounds pretty expensive but I believe that it will be durable enough to last for at least 4-5 years).

hindi kaya 17k kapag fx8 tapos salpakan mo pa ng gpu yan to work with 3dmax. mag a10 ka na lang. go to this thread - http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=1303785. its a 15k budget for cpu only.

unfortunately, the a10-7850k I linked in that thread is no longer available and the price for it from other sources have jacked up. you can probably switch it up to a10-7870k for php6850 from pchub and update the bios of the motherboard to f2d. you can ask the shop to flash it for you.

if youre asking about the gpu then yes. im just not sure about your psu. if that is gold then r7 370 is fine with it. if I were you, id buy an ssd first.

Hindi abot 65k kung instead na magdagdag ka ng hdd, palitan mo na lang yung 1tb mo ng 2 or 3 tb na nasa 4-5.5k lang. Tapos budgetan mo lang chassis mo ng around 3-4k.
Abot naman ng 5 years yan, you'll be using a high end gpu kaya future proof ka na sa target mo. Possible upgrades: another 8gb ram, all-in-one water cooling for the cpu for higher OC potential, multiple hdd for raid 10 config, 1440p - 144hz - freesync monitor, Mechanical keyboard, gaming mouse, etc

^brad, ddr4 2133 mo na, php3740 lang. mas mura ng 10php kesa sa ddr3 hehehe ewan ko lang kung compatible sa motherboard na sinuggest mo.

edit: single lang yata to. hehehe may performance loss ba sa intel kapag single lang?

amd quad core daw baka gusto ko, pero di pa ako nakagamit ng amd, tested kona kasi si intel sa bahay noon pa nasiraan na ako ng cpu p4 pa gamit ko at naputol narin ung isang pin, at tinusok ko sa board gumana naman, hehehe

I suggested biostar because that's what your budget can afford. asus is around 4k. that's twice the price. a10-7870k = Godavari which I provided a link. you can download the bios 324 from the motherboards website. however, if you don't know how to update it, better ask the shop to do it for you or someone with technical knowledge, search google how to do it.

this one does - asus a68hm-e on oc mode but needs 0803 bios to support Godavari. you can switch down to 2133 if you don't like oc mode.

hindi ko po plan mag OC eh, naniniwala kasi akong umiiksi ung lifespan kpag nag Ooc, "correct me if iam wrong" . ok nrin po ba siya kahit walang heatsink? hindi siya ganun iinit? was planning to emulate games from ps2 and play some hardcore games kahit na medium settings lang, like mga console games na may pc version.
