Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

I think parehas lang sila, but aftersales service might be better sa Sapphire, not sure though. Pero both cards use the same chipset e, I advise kuha ka na lang ng mas mura, although superior talaga ang cooling ng MSI at may backplate and AMD cards nila (Medyo bias ako sa MSI, dragons e hehe) kung may budget ka go, temps lang halos lamang mo jan at noise. Performance wise same lang yan unless mag OC ka, which lalabas ang lamang ng MSI kasi sa temp headroom.

- - - Updated - - -

Sana hindi. Wag po. Seriously magiging impact ng sales nila yan, kasi halos lahat ng enthusiasts na bibili e hindi parin mapapakinabangan yan unless it's a new build. Saka... basta sana wag. HAHAHA

- - - Updated - - -

Yep. Armor x2 gpu's are black and white. :) wala nga lang backplate. It's subjective, pero I prefer those who have ones.

thank you sir sa info.

in other stuff:

nice.. good na yan

I assume yung lumang monitor mo VGA port lang meron

kelangan mo ng DVI-VGA adapter or HDMI-VGA adapter

Cpu: i5 3470
Mobo: asus p8z77 v-le plus
Ram: 2x8Gb Kingston HyperX DDR3
Gpu: zotac gtx 970 amp! Omega
Ssd: samsung 850evo 250Gb
SHDD: seagate hybrid 1Tb
HDDB WD Blue 500Gb
Display: BenQ XL2411Z 1080p 144Hz

1st option: (cpu upgrade)
Cpu: i7 6700k skylake.... PHP16, 850
Mobo: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro... PHP9, 450
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16Gb (2x8Gb, 2400MHz)...PHP4,650<br>

Dynaquest price. Total Php30,950.<br>
Pro: latest cpu, can be oc well so tatagal ng several years. <br>
Con: hindi noticeable ung improvement sa gaming dahil same gpu prin (gtx 970)<br>
<br>
2nd option: Gpu upgrade. <br>
Either Gigabyte GTX 980 TI extreme gaming, or Zotac GTX 980 TI Amp! Omega ang pinagpipilian ko... Php 31k-34k<br>
<br>
Pro: ramdam agad performance increase and mejo overkill s 1080p so atleast maabot 120-144fps s latest games. <br>
<br>
Con: maiiwan cpu, and possible bottleneck ung gpu s cpu. May palabas n bagong architecture ang nvidia (pascal) so very possible na me marelease na mas malakas n gpu s 980 ti at the same price... O kya bumaba price ng 980 ti pagrelease nung bagong series ng gpu<br>
<br>
<br>
Ano sa opinion nyo mga master?

Ok pa naman GPU mo.. :D

According to manufacturer's link e merong DVI port yung GW2255. Ayaw mo ba gamitin?

GTX 970 is already king for 1080p, and it's definitely overkill for a 980ti. If you can't wait for new gen cards, then aim for 980ti, but get a 1440p monitor too. Mabilis ang bentahan sa tpc ng GTX 970, and Zotac has a good reputation dito sa PH. Plus there's a good market for used 144Hz monitors.

Bottleneck is a subjective term, depending on games. i5 is still an i5, and my friends are still using i5-2500k's and don't feel bottlenecks, whether the game is cpu or gpu intensive. DDR4 doesn't show any real edge over DDR3 (for gaming at least), they have higher speeds but lower latencies, just overclock since you have a z77 mobo.

My two cents.

Cpu cooler: deepcool s40 maxx
Psu: thermaltake 630w

Yeah, mukang s ngaun mas optimal nga procie lng iupgrade s 3550k or 3770k tapos sabayan ng AIO liquid cooler pra ma oc ng maayos. Pwede narin siguro magpalit ng psu... Para me headroom s OC

Thanks idol

You can also check THIS review para sa exact unit na balak mong bilhin.

No problem.

normal lng yan, since vga/dvi slot nmn ang palilitawin mo sa butas which is a little bit lower on your pcie slot.
