Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Sir magkano po kaya aabutin yung ganitong build

Processor: Intel Core i5-6500 = 9,370.00
Motherboard: MSI B150M night elf = 4,750.00
RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 -> GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 = 2,290.00
Video Card: GTX 1060 6G -> Palit GTX 1060 Dual Fan 6GB Gddr5 = 13,350.00
Hard Drive: 1TB -> WD Blue = 2,290.00
Power Supply: No Idea (Pa suggest po) -> Seasonic S12II 520W 80PLUS Bronze = 2,600.00
Casing: NZXT S340 = 3,750

Pa advise na rin po

total = 38,400.00

mga sir pa advise naman
anu mas maganda

msi z97 gaming 3
or
Asus B85-Pro Gamer

namimili kasi ako sa dalawa na yan
paki explain namn sir :D
medyo baguhan kasi ahahah

basically what i'm saying is that Z97 has more features than a B85 but are you willing to pay for those extra features that you might not use? :noidea:

it's not necessary pero adding one would help temps down a lot. at 100% CPU load, it would bring down the temps to around 50degs against +70degs on stock cooler. pwede mo naman idagdag na lang (upgrade) kung sa tingin mo masyadong mainit ang cpu. it took me a year before I added one :lol:

mga boss san ba nakakabili ng GPU bracket para sa vid card. Lumulundo na kasi ung video card ko. TIA.

ganito ba?
http://mnpctech.com/gpu-support-bracket/mnpctech-gpu-support-bracket.html
gpu_2_support_video_graphics_card_bracket_mnpctech.jpg

@nubbest
:rofl:
panalo yung bra

total = 38,400.00

im not into overclocking namn sir ..
mostly kasi gaming trip ko ...
practically speaking which one is enough or good MOBO when it comes on gaming
with those 2 sir ?

now I see what you mean... since nakita mo na may suffix na "GAMER/GAMING" yung branding nila, identified mo na sya as a gaming motherboard.
that is not the case because they are just using it as marketing material. mukhang effective dahil nakuha atensyon. you can use any motherboard compatible with your CPU and still make it "GAMER/GAMING"
check out this link para ma-compare mo ang features nila:
http://motherboards.specout.com/compare/3071-3762/ASUS-B85-PRO-GAMER-vs-MSI-Z97-GAMING-3

if you don't understand the contents of the link, mas maiintidihan ko ang gusto mo gawin kung mabibigay mo sa amin lahat ng parts na balak mong bilhin. magkano rin ang budget mo. at kung anong mga balak mong laruin. at baka mabigyan ka namin ng mas magandang setup

Processor: i5 6500
Motherboard: MSI B150M Mortar Arctic
RAM: 8GB 2133Mhz (Nakalagay kasi Supports DDR4-2133 Memory)
Video Card: Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! Edition 6GB Gddr5

monitor is just a peripheral. the thing with peripherals is, you can spend as little or as much as you want :hyper: nasa sayo yan. I'm actually using a Dell U3011 monitor
there is a wide range of monitors to choose from with so many options nowadays because of the increasing amount of technological advancement of the latest GPU's.
aspect ratios = 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, 21:9
resolution = 1024x768, 1920x1080, 1920x1200, 2560x1440, 2560x1600, 2560x1080, 3840x2160, etc
refresh rates = 60hz, 75hz, 120hz, 144hz or more
type of panel = TN, IPS, at maraming pang less known and used types
response time, input lag, color gamut, etc... at napakarami pa... better research for yourself kung ano balak mo.
about sa case mo, mukhang 1 lang ang kasamang fan na mounted as exhaust sa likod. please see link below to see the pictures.

no need to upgrade your PSU pag ganun lang. usually GPU ang main reason to upgrade your PSU dahil sila ang pinaka-power hungry na component sa isang system. also, wag kalimutan na maglagay ng SSD in your upgrade path. malaki ang mararamdaman mong responsiveness pag ang OS mo nasa SSD nakalagay.

:wow:
the problem with waiting for the next big thing is, there's always something better coming around the corner. you have to decide to when to buy and bite the bullet :lol:
nasa sayo ang desisyon nyan dahil hindi ako ganyan magisip :lol:

@themonyo how to be you po? hahahahahahaha. ty sir ang daming kong natutunan sa tanong na sinasagot mo :)

:evillol: :thumbsup:
