Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

not to mention the price disparity between pcpartpicker, amazon & newegg against our local retailers.
sample ko lang ay yung mga EVGA PSU... sa US, yun ang best budget PSU nila. may mga bronze rated na sila na 450w for around 30usd... dito... either taga ang presyo or walang seller
another is rx 470/570... sa US nasa 160-170USd lang sila... dito lagpas 10k :slap:

very good alternative for an i3 sana :sigh:

bigyan na lang kita ng guide on how to choose the best bang for your buck na laptop that will work really well with autocad
CPU = autocad will work with a dual core. pero i would recommend at least an i3 haswell or its AMD equivalent and newer. mas gusto ng autocad ang mataas ang frequency instead sa number of cores.
RAM = 8gb and more. you'll use up mostly up to 6gb sa autocad even with 3d heavy drawings
SSD = for fast application loading and overall OS responsiveness
GPU = hindi na recommended ang firepro or quadro dahil sa price to performance ratio unless of course kailangan mo talaga ang mga high precision computations ng pro graphics cards for your work. otherwise, get an nvidia geforce 460 or better for better redraws and real time rendering.

compatible naman yung 7600k sa b250 na mobo... di lang recommended kasi di mo magagamit yung overclocking feature ng 7600k. tapos kelangan mo pa bilhan ng separate CPU cooler kasi walang kasama. you can instead opt for the locked or non-K version ng CPU para makatipid (i5 7600). nasa 2k din ata difference :slap: plus the cpu cooler.
kung balak mo 980ti, i would recommend a more powerful PSU. 250w ang power draw ng 980ti... lalagpas 90% load ang PSU mo tulad ng sakin... which is not recommended... do as i say, not what i do :lmao:

Malakas!

i can't recommend liquid cooling to beginners... kasi after a year or 2, kelangan mo palitan yung tubig sa radiator. there is a level of maintenance required din eh :noidea:

that's ridiculous :slap:

kaya i would rather recommend a CM Hyper 212 evo or Cryorig H7... parehong wala pang 2k ang presyo pero would bring down your CPU temps to around 60°C even at 100% load.
