[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

ang mabibili lang ng 4k mo ay skylake na Celeron nsa php1,900 taz ECS Socket 1151 mobo na updated nsa php2,700
taz benta mo yung 8gb dd3 ram mo bili ka ng 4gb ddr4 na ram..

or
kung makakahunt ka ng 2ndhand i5-2400+mobo sa tipidpc nsa php4k-4.5k lang yun (ingat lng sa pagbili ng 2ndhand)

pag nag install ba sa SSD ng OS, yung HDD ba dapat "unplug"?

PS: ang sabi kc sakin ng tropa, pede install sa SSD pero naka unplug yung HDD, then after ng installation ng OS, plug in lang yung HDD(turn off) at no need to format na... tama po ba yun?

kung di dahil sa crypto-currency mining fad na yan, marami sana supply. daming nagbebenta din ng 2nd hand a few months ago.

Actually matagal ang ROI ng r9 fury x kasi malakas sa kuryente pero mababa ang hashrate/earnrate.275w per card kung dalawa pa bale plus 3400php sa kuryente.tsaka walang gpu na kaya 1 month return

it's not about kung ilang watts ang capacity, its the reliability rating of the PSU that is in question. mga generic na psu are unreliable lalo na kung may component ka na kelangan ng high power. ang masama kasi nyan, pag bumigay ang PSU, minsan nandadamay ng ibang parts.

no... intel processors na pwede overclock ay usually may suffix na either "K" or "X"... tapos yung mobo chipset naman dapat supported din ang overclocking... ang usual na chipsets na associated sa overclocking ay may prefix naman na either "Z" or "X"

Okay thanks sir. any brands na reliable aside sa seasonic? also ok na ba ibang parts ko sir para masama ko sa estimate ko if ever kailangan palitan.

Any suggestion for pisonet usage. gaming etc. games like dota,cf, mid game settings.

Ideal processor is g4560
probably 4gb ram
video card (pwede na bang wala?)

budget is 15k-18k siguro complete set kasama yung box
