Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Pwede ka mag Cryorig H5 or H7 para ma-OC mo to 5.0GHz.

Sino po ba mas maganda Intel or amd build pagdating sa gaming? at sa monitor I'll go with Asus MG278Q 27″ LED TN 144hz freesync 2560x1440p = 26800.. At sir about sa casing pede din po ba nzxt s340 elite? And may tanung pa po ako itong build po na ito overclockable? Kasi I do not allow my computer na e overclock I just want the manufacturer how it will perform they given. My old computer last long about 8 years so I give it to my cousin nasa province na and now I wanna build again my second personal PC for gaming. Salamat po .. Lastly kung may 8th gen na I'll wanna go for it.. Salamat mga master.. Help me pls..

highest FPS without GPU limitation on gaming = intel is still the king  pero with their prices, i think you'll have a hard time getting a balanced system
case, pwede naman. around +5k ata nzxt s340 elite  case aesthetics are subjective and depende talaga sa may-ari, kaya choose what you want
all AMD cpus are overclockable as long that your mobo supports it. your notion of overclocking ay medyo outdated na. much has improved over the years already... as long na hindi mag-thermal-throttle ang cpu mo, there shouldn't be any issue with overclocking
ex: intel's 8th gen i5 8600k and 8700k can reach around 5.2ghz on liquid cooling as long na swerte ka sa silicone lottery. safe OC and the most common frequency reached is around 4.8~4.9ghz without any issue of overheating with reasonably priced cpu fans lang.
while AMD's Ryzen can reach around 4ghz if you're lucky or 4.1ghz on 1800x if you have the best luck  common OC frequency reach around 3.8ghz without much effort
mataas na ang thermal threshold ng mga CPU (and GPU's) at marami ng safety precautions na nilagay ang mga manufacturer to avoid early death of their products nowadays.

pero kung ayaw mo talaga, better get those "X" cpu's from AMD (if you still want to stay with the AMD build) tapos hayaan na lang yung XFR nila kusang magboost ng performance ng processor. parang weaker version ng cpu boost ng intel kasi mas mababa ang frequency nila.

edit: 8th gen kasi hirap recommend. wala pang mga cheap mobo para sa mga locked processors tapos overpriced din mga CPU kung meron man stock. in around 2-3 months, maglalabas na naman sila ng bago at there are rumors na hindi na naman compatible sa current mobos :slap: may ibang sumagot sa post mo, check mo 8th gen build nya

heto my version of the build:
Monitor: Asus MG278Q 27" LED TN 144hz freesync 2560x1440p = ₱26,800.00
Case: NZXT Source S340 Elite Matte (black, white, black-red) = ₱5,150.00
Mouse: Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime MOBA Gaming = ₱1,750.00
Keyboard: Tecware Phantom RGB Mechanical Keyboard = ₱2,100.00
PSU: FSP AU-650M AURUM CM 650W 80Plus Gold Modular = ₱4,390.00
GPU: Palit GTX 1070 Dual 8GB = ₱21,490.00
SSD: Samsung 960 Evo M.2 NVME 250GB = ₱6,950.00
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z370XP-SLI = ₱9,600.00
RAM: Corsair Dominator PT 16GB 2x8G 3000Mhz CL15 = ₱9,350.00
CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 2.8-4.0ghz 6 core Coffeelake = ₱10,650.00
Total = 98,230

notes: di ko type yung mobo kasi locked yung cpu mo. sayang features na babayaran mo tapos di mo rin magagamit. by january pa magsisilabasan mga H370 at B360 mobo para sa mga locked 8th gen processors. you can expect prices ranging from 3.5k~6k for those locked mobos.

wahahaha astig to ah, kaso yung presyo ng z170 at z370 konti na lang pagitan, pero kung may z170 ka na pwede na to 4.0ghz agad

which means kaya talaga ng older generation ng chipsets and mobos ang 8th gen... ayaw lang ni intel para kumita sila.... and they're going to do it again in the next couple of months up to next year sa realease nila ng Z390 chipset and the rumored 8 core/16 thread cpu for the mainstream market. :slap:

simple specs lang...

what are you talking about? :noidea:

sa laptop hehehe ;)

sorry, my bad
