Android 4.1 or 4.2 Custom ROM for myPhone A878 and A898 Duo

I think I have two people using A898 who have posted in my Rooting ASTRA thread that they have successfully rooted their A898 using the ASTRA procedure. If you want (that is if you really want) I can change the title of the thread to include A898.

Sir paulpacs, change nyo na ung name ng thread nyo, include our phone A898, ako po ung isa sa mga nakapag root then nagreply sa thread nyo kung natatandaan nyo pa hehe.
Para narin po makatulong sa iba pa naming mga ka myphone, ka android and ka symbian.

For A878 po, wala pang custom rom dahil hindi makakuha ng JB boot.img para dito.
Sa A898 naman po ay napakarami na, just go to this Group para po malaman nyo lahat ng update about our phones.

Mga sir patulong naman po about my my phone my pad 2.. accidentally na corrupt ang o.s nya after kong mg root.. so i decided to install other firmware na.. the problem is hindi active ang touch screen,camera, tsaka ext.sd slot.. sana po makuha tayo ng stock rom ng tab ko.. na wipe out ang stock rom nya.. Pls pa hel namn po.. sa mga master po natin jan!!! salamat po in advance...

Lam nyo? best way para magka-JB ang A878 ay magport nang custom rom ng Qmobile Noir A8 kase yun yung may pinaka malapit na specs sa MP A878... sino po ba marunong magport d2??

Guys hindi lang naman po porke pareho ng specs e maipport nlng ng basta basta. It's about the system.img dahil un po ung parang skeleton ng isang device. Sa tagal na po naming tumitingin ng kapareha ng 878, hindi parin po kami nakakakita ng katulad nya.
Bootloop din po ang kinalalabasan kung ifflash ang custom rom ng 898 sa 878, JB system.img po ang need natin para magkaron ng base JB ang 878.

Sir. sana po mapansin nyo po ang post ko. dahil ang a898 ko ay nasira. di ko alam ang gagawin. ang ginawa ko kasi ay winipe ku yung system gamit yung stock ng phone yung mismong reformat options nya sa settings hindi yung sa cwm, nung ginawa ko yun nag restart yung phone tapos nag boot loop na sha. ngayon kahit cwm di ko na mapuntahan. payulungan naman po!!!!! PLS!!!

Good Day mga kaSb at MP .. astig na ng SB ngaun tagal q ng d nkadalaw dto . hehe
about po dun sa concern ni TS na same chipset ang 878 at 898, slyt lang po un, 878=MTK6517 898=MTK6577 yan po tlga ang real chipset natin, btw 898 user aq .. maganda po yung target mu actually we have FB group po https://www.facebook.com/groups/524776830871900/ all about 878/898 updates anjan lahat .. sad to say 878 so far wla pa din xang JB rom, actually kala namen same chipset lang tlga ung dalawa kya iniisip nmen na pwdeng magka JB rin c 878.. den we try several things experiments and at last po napa boot na nmen ang JB sa 878 pro malas lang invalid imei po.. hlos lahat na ata ng way/methods gnwa nmen hoping na magka imei c 878 kso up to now negative pa rin po.. try niu nalang po ung above link iv given mraming roms jan for 878/898 .. pwde niu rin ilink dto sa SB yung mga roms link just give proper credits na lang po .. ty

pa up po nito... ayaw na po mag accept yong sa FB Group na mag ka A898 natin... close na po ba un?? (jb 4.1.1) palang po ung phone q ie.. gusto q po sana maka pasok dun.. para ma update q naman 2ng phone q.. tia po sana may mag.accept na dun..
