I believe it's the duty of every atheist to shed light where religious ignorance darkens the corridor of rational thought. But It needs to be done in respect to the person."

para naman sa akin, parang religion-inclined na din ang dating nito... di ba every religion claims that they have the duty to enlighten the non-believers... so ganun din, pag may duty na ganito ang mga athiests, nagiging religion na rin sila in a way.. i mthink being an athiest and agnostic is a way of life and not something to be imposed...
I have tried approaching random people in a very casual, gentle and unoffensive manner, mga kaibigan ko pa karamihan, I don't know why, but the moment it gets to the point that I tell them that I don't believe in god, they get infuriated, enraged at naha-high blood.
As biased as I am, most religion-baptized people will really be offended if you tell them so. They are that closed-minded. Kaya nasabi ko na way of life ang pagiging non-believer for me kase nga I don't belive I have to shed the light to them because for them, believing in god is their light.
If may magtatanong o ma cucurious, so dun na siguro ang magandang time to explain why i became a non-believer.
how exactly do you approach yung mga "random" people na sinasabi mo?
sample sample ..
just to correct the RANDOM word, I mean people within the place of work and yung mga circle of neighbors, so kakilala ko... but not the strangers... awkward... hehehehe
@Marc
