nice, i do think i belong here. INC member by name (i was born one, a.k.a handog), agnostic theist by heart.
can't leave the INC right now because of the social stigma the rest of my family (with a mom who cares so much about her image as INC) will get from their brethren after i leave. one example: INC people saying their child is of the devil now because they left (common observation in former INC members i've known). i love my family, but not their religion so i'll have to stay for now. slowly introducing the idea of me being an agnostic theist though, to soften the blow.

Agnostic - I don't know if there are god(s)
Gnostic - I know there are god(s)/ i know there are no god(s)

- Strong theist. 100 per cent probability of God. In the words of C.G. Jung, 'I do not believe, I know.'
- Very high probability but short of 100 per cent. De facto theist. 'I cannot know for certain, but I strongly believe in God and live my life on the assumption that he is there.'
- Higher than 50 per cent but not very high. Technically agnostic but leaning towards theism. 'I am very uncertain, but I am inclined to believe in God.'
- Exactly 50 per cent. Completely impartial agnostic. 'God's existence and non-existence are exactly equiprobable.'
- Lower than 50 per cent but not very low. Technically agnostic but leaning towards atheism. 'I do not know whether God exists but I'm inclined to be skeptical.'
- Very low probability, but short of zero. De facto atheist. 'I cannot know for certain but I think God is very improbable, and I live my life on the assumption that he is not there.'

magandang representation to sir, and i see andun ako sa me north-eastern arrow, yes i believe there's a higher form of being, but not necessary god..

First topic: Kailan ka naging Atheist o Agnostic?
Ako, galing ako sa Catholic family, then naging Agnostic ako last November, then this January naging Atheist na ako ng tuluyan. Dahil sa pag-aaral ng BS Physics at dumagdag pa ang Philosophy kaya ako naging Atheist.
@TS: mind if i ask what is the connection between you being a BS Physics and an atheist? Thanks.
I mean, what's the relevance of the course for becoming an atheist.

I mean, what's the relevance of the course for becoming an atheist.
i'm no physicist, but the way i understand it (based on an explanation of a BS Physics grad friend of mine), physics also cover quantum physics, which may have some theories with the creation of the universe (non-creationism theories).

yeah. not all physicists are atheists, nor agnostics kase. depende rin kase sa branch of physics na pinursue nila yun

i am a theist agnostic. i am not sure if there is a god, but i think there is, though it may or may not be the christian god. therefore, i am looking for answers. biblical arguments won't work since skeptical din ako sa origin ng bible.

May kaparehas rin pala ako ng paniniwala.. dito i still Believe in God but not in the scripture with unknown author

kelangan ba talaga ng mga scriptures para maniwalang may diyos??... mga scriptures na nagpapagulo lalo at pinagaaway away ang mga relihiyon ayon sa paniniwala nila sa bible??... ganun ba ang tinatawag na all loving god ayon sa bible?...
sakn, hindi ko alam kung sino sya, pero hindi ko kelangan ng mga scriptures para maniwalang may diyos... sa anatomy palang ng tao, at kalayaan nating magisip... at sa dinami dami nyang likha, at tao lang ang superior sa buong mundo, tao lang ang nakakagawa ng sibilisasyon, mga technologies... don palang, alam mong merong something called almighty god...
