agreed nakita ko thread na kung san eh magkakasunod na nagkainfra ang mga nagbigay ng salungat na opinyon.. eh parang duplicate thread lang yun nung thread na tsunami wake up call err.

cguro naman hindi tayu magkakainfra dito dahil ito ang thread para sa ating paniniwala, here we can express atheist/agnostic views with each other..

napansin ko din ang thread na yun, meron akong urge na magcomment, but i'm seeing something wrong lol so i resisted.

pinapakita lang naman natin na hanggat maari huwag irelate ang mga nangyayari sa kahit anomang religious book .. at gumamit lamang dapat ng reasoning..
 
there are lots of flamers and idiots in this forum. what amazes me is that they are not given any infractions. others keep on creating nonsense and flame threads. but it was just lately noticed by our good mods locked them all up. its a good move but i think it is best to stop those morons who keeps on posting subjective comments towards another person. afterall, if we are going to stop exchanging ideas here then this should not be called as a "forum". asking for an evidence is just normal specially when you are explaining your point. my observation is whenever a certain person can't give any concrete explanation to his argument or valid proof to his argument, he will just sort to flaming in which i believe should be given infraction.

mahirap kase yung may mga post na inaakay tayu or pinatatamaan tayu dahil di tayu naniniwala sa kanilang sekta or paniniwala
and ayaw naman natin magpaakay
once naman tayu ay magbigay ng reason why ayaw natin magpaakay
lumalabas na tayu naman umaakay sa kanila..

note:
para sa bibisita dito at babasahan kame ng mga bersikulo kung san mang galing na holy book..

wala po kaming balak iaakay kayu sa pagiging atheist/agnostic, and wala kame balak din mag paakay, alisin po natin sa ating isipan na pag kame ay nangatwiran ay pinipilit namin na kayu ay umalis sa inyung religion dahil mali yan..

pinapakita lamang po namin na may mga kontradiksyon sa inyong mga paliwanag na kailangan pa nang dagdag na pananaliksik. at iyon ang aming hinahanap.

we should use reasoning first before referring to any book or document that has been written..

If you are a theist and you believe in the bible, congratulations you have found your GOD, You're search for GOD is finished.
But me, I refuse to end my search for GOD/Higher Form of Being by referring to one Book.
 
kung hindi kaya alam ng moderator na atheist/agnostic ang member na nagtanong dun sa mismong post ng member?.. bibigyan niya kaya ng infraction?..

maybe inisip niya kasi na atheist/agnostic ito. kaya ang nasa isip niya kaagad e inaatake niya agad ang paniniwala nung member, lalo na at quinote pa ito. hindi niya ba naisip or nabigyan ng benefit of the doubt na baka gusto lang nun maliwanagan at matuto pa dun sa shinare na idea nung isang member?..

well, hindi ako takot sa infraction ng mga moderator dito. i respect them, pero hindi ako takot sa infraction. wala ako pakialam sa thanks or reputation na binibigay dito. just like living in reality. hindi ako gumagawa ng mabuti dahil gusto ko ng reward (heaven/blessings), at hindi ako gumawa ng masama hindi dahil lang takot ako sa parusa(hell/badkarma).

again to the mods, if asking a question, verifying, clarifying is wrong. then you/we will never be right.

Yes, this is a forum but we have established a list of guidelines that every member is required to follow once they are logged in to Symbianize. Now if those guidelines are not to your liking, and you cannot, in all honesty, be bothered to follow them, then there is one possible solution I can see: Find another forum which would be more accommodating to your way of thinking.

Napakasimple lang naman po ng solusyon eh. Pinapahirapan pa natin ang mga sarili natin.

Habang tayo po ay naka log-in sa Symbianize, ibig sabihin tayo ay nagpapasakop sa kung anumang batas o panuntunang itinakda. Kung hindi natin maatim na sundin ang mga iyon, mangyaring maghanap na lamang tayo ng ibang lugar na pagbabahaginan ng ating mga paniniwala; mga lugar na nagpapahintulot ng walang habas na tuligsaan at debate.

Mga BAWAL Sa Usaping RELIHIYON Dito Sa Symbianize

  • Bawal tanungin ang ibang members lalu na yung mga tanong na nanghihingi ng patunay o katibayan.

  • Bawal makipagdebate o makipagsagutan sa ibang members na may ibang paniniwala.

  • Bawal ang name substitution, pagbansag, o pagpalit sa tunay na pangalan ng isang bagay o tao.

Alin po ba diyan ang mahirap nating maintindihan? O ayaw lang kaya nating intindihin?

Inaanyayahan ko po kayong maghanap ng mga infractions na sa tingin niyo'y hindi patas at ang taong napatawan ay wala namang nilabag sa ating mga panuntunan. Kung sakali mang nagkamali lang ng pag-intindi ang moderator sa kanyang post (tao lang din po kami't nagkakamali), ay buong kababa-an po kaming hihingi ng paumanhin at agaran naming tatanggalin ang infraction. Pwede ninyo akong i-pm.

Pasensya na po't medyo humaba ang aking pagpapaliwanag. Pagkatapos po nito'y hindi na tayo magpapaliwanag at ipatutupad na lang ang mga panuntunan dito sa Traditions and Beliefs.

Inuulit ko lang po, kung hindi natin kayang sundin ang mga panuntunan, malaya po tayong maghanap ng ibang website o forum. Pero hangga't nandito tayo sa Symbianize at naka log-in, susunod po tayo sa mga panuntunang itinakda.

1st. offtopic. lugar ba to ng pagpapaliwanag?..

2nd. yun ang paniniwala namin. paniniwala na hindi masama magtanong. at ang pagtatanong sa amin ng ganito "Alin po ba diyan ang mahirap nating maintindihan? O ayaw lang kaya nating intindihin?" ay malinaw na paglabag.

Kahit kailan ay hindi magiging offtopic ang post ng isang Moderator, lalung-lalo na kung patungkol ito sa misdemeanors ng isang member. Kahit na kung sino pa ang gumawa ng thread o kahit ano pang topic don, may authority ang isang Moderator upang magstep in sa isang diskusyon at paalalahan ng tamang pamamaraan ng pagdedebate. At dahil na rin d'yan masasabi natin na exempted ang mga Moderators sa kung ano mang rule kasi bago pa man sila maging Moderator ay siniguradong nabasa nila mabuti yon at ngayon ay sila naman ang dapat magpatupad ng kung ano mang rule ang inannounce ng Staff.

Hindi naman po ang pagtatanong ang pinagbabawal natin, kundi ang pagkuwestiyon sa relihiyon ng iba. Kung sa tingin natin na ang pagtatanong natin ay magiging simula ng mahaba at mainit na debate ay tayo na po mismo ang mag-awat sa ating sarili. Kung ayaw po tumigil ng kabilang panig, gamitin natin sa tamang paraan ang Report button upang pag-aralan at aksyunan ng Moderator kung dapat bang bigyan ng sanction ang offense na nireport natin.

Kung hindi po tayo titigil sa pagkuwestiyon ng authority ng Moderators ay baka tayo pa po ang ma-offtopic at maclose ang thread, o baka mabigyan pa tayo ng Infraction. (Hindi ko na rin ikoclose at baka sabihin n'yo na hindi ako pabor sa diskusyong nagaganap sa thread na ito.)

Ako naging Agnostic nun 4th year highschool, 3rd year college pa lang po. I would like to gain more enlightenment. Galing pa nga ako sa Catholic school, nagsimula lahat sa isang essay na obsolete na ang tanong: does God exist? Aaminin ko, na-shock ako nung una, nung nag self-proclaim na ako, inaassociate nila ako bilang isang AntiChrist. That's waaaaaaaaaaaaay differnet from being an Agnostic.

For me bible is only a guide... if you looking for GOD the answer lies within if you cannot find the answer within yourself you cannot find it anywhere... there's no point in looking for the truth outside oneself because the kingdom of heaven is within...

Where does your body begin and end?Where do you begin and end? The only boundaries of your body and of your being are the boundaries of your awareness.The "Kingdoms" outside and inside of you are respective fields of your outer and inner body awareness.
The kingdom "outside" you is the field of your outer, bodily awareness of the world around you-bounded only by the curvature of space-time.

The kingdom "inside" you is the inner field or space of awareness you sense as your soul or psyche,bounded by your body.
"The kingdom inside" leads down into the "kingdom of heaven".This is what we call the "spiritual world"- an unbounded inner realm of divine awareness which, paradoxically both surrounds, and lies behind the "outer" realm of the "kingdom outside".

no need to debunk, or rebuke what i believe, nor the need for me to produce any proof of what i believe.
Ika nga bakit ko ipapaliwang ang isang bagay na hindi ko pinapaniwalaan.

para naman sa iyong post, ayoko pong sumagot ng isa pang tanong dahil hahaba ang usapan. kaya pagpasensyahan na ang aking sagot dahil ito ang aking idea.

The "Truth" para sa akin ay tayu din ang may gawa, kung gusto natin gumawa ng mabuti walang pipigil, kailangan lang nating alamin kung talagang nakakabuti ba ang ating ginagawa, kailangan lang maging bukal sa ating sarili ang gawain na ito.


No matter what book or verse you use, No matter what reasoning i use, we wont get each other to defect to our own ideas and belief(sides).

Hindi na natin pahihintulutan pag-usapan ang tungkol sa infractions or sa mga rules dito sa Symbianize. Ang thread na ito ay hindi proper venue para diyan. Sa Users' Feedback kayo mag post.

I really don't understand what's up with these theists here. :upset: I mean, why in the world would they enter a thread where they know for certain that they can read posts that are contrary to what they believe in? What is the point of coming in and posting your idea when you are almost sure where it lead to i.e. debate and rebuttal? :noidea: Are you trying to influence people here? I hope not. Otherwise, that could be considered to be against forum rules and guidelines.

I urge the enlightened that to save this thread, please don't respond to any of these posts. It is clearly stated in the thread title that this is Atheists and Agnostics Meeting Place. If you happen to come across posts that should not be here, please click on the report button for off topic. I am no moderator, so I am afraid that is the least we can do. They want us to follow rules? Then we will. :thumbsup:
