sir salamat sa reply about sa alarm.meron pa pala akong tanong.kasi after a long drive siguro mga 1 or 2 hr drive.my car starts shaking,specifically the hood, when releasing the clutch on first gear. I don't know if i asked the same question before pero kasi it's getting worse. May mga nabasa ko it's either contaminated clutch daw or sa flywheel or motor mount or tranny mount or worn out parts. It only happens after the engine heated up for hours. Pag bagong andar normal naman lahat eh. May naexperience na po ba kayong ganto?thanks ulit sir.

It sounds like your clutch is slipping already. Do have problems accelerating up a car park or a steep incline from a stop? Does your rpm still drops each time you shift when it began shaking? If it's your clutch then you need to replace it as well as the pressure plate and release bearing.

No idea on how to reset the ecu on your fortuner except with a scan tool. But you can try searching the web for it. As for the location, usually it's inside the fuse box in your engine bay close to the firewall. There are labels on the cover to help you identify it.

It's difficult to say without doing some test. What kind of sound do you hear? If you have worked on cars you can probably troubleshoot it by yourself. You can start by taking off the a/c belt then turn the AC on. See if the compress clutch will engage (I don't remember right now if my compress clutch engages after I took the belt out), if it does and you didn't hear any noise then your compressor might still be good. So probably the noise is coming from the idler pulley (if you have one) or you have worn belt. Usually, screaming sound means the compressor is having problems like high pressure while squealing could be worn or misaligned belt.

i'm not having any issues when the engine just started.it only happens when the engine is running for more than 2 hrs.maybe when tranny is heated up. after siguro mga couple of hours rest ng engine pag andar normal ulit 'til mag heat ulit sya for 2 hrs. try ko nalang po papalit clutch saka yung pressure plate and bearing. sana maayos na sya. wala kasing rpm yung gauge ko eh ndi ko madetermine

Try having a mechanic check it for second opinion before you start replacing everything.
 
guys help naman. meron akong Honda Civic 'eg' hatch 94 model. medyo naka tambak sya sa bahay at minsan lumilipas ang 1 month before may mag start man lang ng engine nya. so one time pag uwi ko naisipan kong start engine. so start ko. I left it for a while. after around 20-30min. pinuntahan ko. nag ooverheat sya, nag maxed yung temp. I switched it off. Then chineck ko radiator fan kung gumagana, gumagana naman sya. so ginawa ko, bumili ako ng new radiator cap. checked for leaks, wala naman, yung fan gumagana naman. chineck ko yung oil kung humalo na yung tubig sa oil, normal naman yung color ng oil, checked the exhaust kung may steam, wala naman puting usok, checked coolant level kung nabawasan, wala din, checked upper hose and lower hose kung parehong mainit (check if thermostat is working), yep parehong mainit and yung oil medyo brownish pa. Somehow inistart ko ulit. after sometime, rising nanaman yung temperature na magoverheat nanaman. hindi ko na alam kung bakit, what do you think is the problem?


edit: I noticed na when the engine is hot, diba dapat some coolant goes to the overflow/reserve? napansin ko parang walang coolant na nagooverflow, pansin ko kasi yung overflow tank is almost empty. sinadya ko hindi lagyan ng coolant. but yung radiator, puno yun. Tama ba yung observation ko? the car is just idling btw. hindi ko pinaandar. idling lang sa garahe.

ask ko lng.. my monitor ako my display nman pro wlang brightness kahit ifull pa yung brightness nito..bka my alam po kayo panu gawin to'..
 
sir good day yung kia picanto 2007 model kabibili ko lng matigas yung clutch nya. at talaga bang hindi umiikot
yung radiator fan nya kapag inistart ko kasi sa umaga at nakabukas hood napapansin ko hindi umiikot fan sa radiator.

As long as the clutch is not slipping then your good. Maybe it's not a stock clutch anymore. The radiator fan will turn ON once the engine is hot enough already otherwise your engine will take longer to warm up if the fan would turn ON once you start the engine.
 
paano ko po malalaman kung pwede n ko magpachange oil? di pa naman clutch sliding talagang matigas lang at nakakangawit sa paa lalo na kung trapik

Since you just got your vehicle then it's a good practice to change the oil and start counting from there. Usually you change the oil every 3 months or 5,000 km whichever comes first. If you don't know the service history of the vehicle that you just bought then you can also change the timing belt and other belts if you see any wear and tear.

sir nagpapalit na ko ng clutch disc, pressure plate saka release bearing.so far so good.wala na po yung shaking.pero meron pa po ko tanong..dame issues ng oto ko haha.may kumakatok sa ilalim eh lalo na pag turn ng 360 yung steering wheel.minsan pag nalulubak may kumakatok paisa isa.pero pag nagtturn talaga terring wheel marami katok eh.san po possible part na pwedeng palitan?already replaced cv joints but the sound is still there.
 
ano po kaya problema sa owner ko 4k engine???.. kakapalit lang po head gasket pero puti parin po usok lalo sa umaga wala naman po crack sa cylinder head .. pero di naman na po nag babawas tubig sa radiator.. unleded po ginagamit kung gas. normal lang po ba o may ibang problema???

Usually CV joint but since you had it replaced then it could be a lot of things. You may need a mechanic to check each part like the tie rod and the ball joint. You can do a visual inspection on your tie rod boot to see if there's a tear. If you know how to remove it from the steering knuckle you can try wiggling to see if it has too much play. Same with the ball join. But with the ball joint it's usually difficult to remove the lower control arm from the hub. If you can't remove it then check the rubber boot of the tie rod end or ball join and the boot of your ball joint for a tear.

The most reliable test to determine if it's the cylinder head gasket or whatever that's causing the smoke is to do a leakdown test but only a few shop have this. Not only should you check for cracks between the mating surface of the cylinder head and block but also check if they are warp. It's normal to have white smoke when you first start your car especially in the morning due to condensation from the tail pipes. But the smoke should go away after you drive it over a long distance.
 
hi good day.. ask ko lang po,meron po ako honda crv 1998 model pag nag bukas po ako ng aircon bumababa yung rpm ko at nag umuuga ung makina.. anu po kaya problema? nakailaw din po ung check engine nya palagi..
