Aware ba kayo sa naging union strike sa EVA air? [HELP]

Last June 20th, 2019 nagpunta kami ng Taiwan to travel with my 2 kids and my wife. It was really an inconvenience kasi since first time namin pumunta kami ng airport ng maaga para di kami magkaron ng problema sa flight.

Our flight was scheduled on June 21, 2019 at 4:00 AM and we went to the airport on June 20 at 11:30 PM. Pag punta pa lang namin sa entrance we were told na, cancelled daw yung flight namin but we were asked to go inside para mag inquire sa airline namin which is si EVA Air. We waited 2 hours I think na supposedly is nasa immigration na kami by that time. We waited patiently and finally I got to speak with EVA Air's office, nung una sinabi samin na wala sila magagawa sa cancelled flights but good things is meron naman daw next flight at 4:00 PM!!! para sakin napaka unacceptable! may bookings kami sa Taiwan and for sure cancelled na rin so sobrang inconvenience talaga and plus may kasama pa kaming mga bata.

Pinaghintay pa kami para gawan ng paraan so ayon, nakahanap sila ng flight at earlier time which is 12:40 PM so over 8 hours yung paghihintay namin! Di na kami umalis ng airport kasi chineck in na kami ng staff and to compensate we were given a business-class lounge. Sobrang grabe pa rin talaga nangyari samin, asar na asar ako kaso kailangan namin matuloy.

Nakarating na kami ng Taiwan and ang balik namin is on June 25 ng gabi pero first day pa lang namin sa Taiwan, naka receive na kami ng notification na cancelled nanaman yung flight and from what I heard sa katapusan pa ng buwan magkakaron ng available flights. WTF! So we were in Taipei 101 with my mom who is working there but I had to rush to the airport para makipag usap in person sa airport and ask things about sa incident.

I went to the airport at exactly 10:30 PM and guess what?! nakauwi na ko ng 7:00 AM! (kung san kami nag i-stay) so instead na June 25 ang flight namin nalipat sa June 26 ng umaga. But they said that there will be a compensation maximum of $250, we just have to keep the accommodation receipts daw or any transportation receipts pero guys sa tingin nyo deserve ba namin yun or we deserve more? Grabe lang yung nangyari samin and sobrang pangit na experience.

Nag send na ako sakanila ng receipts and until now wala ako na rereceive na updates from EVA air. I contacted their office here in Philippines kaso wala silang alam sa process and they said that I have to contact EVA Air Taipei, wtf ano kayang klaseng service yun!

So sa mga nakaaalam kung anong nangyar sa EVA AIR last month, baka naman pwede nyo ko mabigyan ng advice. Di ko alam kanino kami lalapit, sobrang daming nawala samin.
