So malamang, sabi ng tatay ng lolo mo at pinasa sa tatay mo na pinasa sayo na malas ngang kumain ng karne sa good friday kasi nga good hahahahahahaha.

You can say that it is an Oral tradition pass down by their Church Fathers...

First of, noong panahon ni Noah, after God removed the prohibition of flesh of any kind as food (initially, Jehovah instructed Noah not to eat flesh and only vegetables and fruits), lahat ng klase ng hayop serves as food for them as recorded in Gen 9:3 which states:

Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. Just as I gave you the green vegetation, I give them all to you. 4 Only flesh with its life—its blood—you must not eat.

So every living animals served as food to Noah and his descendants. They were given a "go signal" to eat them to their satisfaction except the blood. So when did the prohibition of swine and other unclean animals took place???? it was after they were set free from Egypt... Jehovah God gave them this prohibition along with all other prohibition as a sign of their "Pact".... These dietary limitations applied only to those who were under the Mosaic Law and I quote:

(Leviticus 11:8) 8 You must not eat any of their flesh or touch their dead body. They are unclean for you.

Yes. Tama po. Hindi sya pinagbabawal although it was part of the "Catholic law" passed down by Pope Nicholas I and is also considered an "Obligation" of Catholic members....

Primary purpose of the Mosaic Law is to established the need of a Messiah for salvation... Since the whole nation is under the covenant with Jehovah, they became a special property of God... So this is where the second purpose of the law comes in...

Secondary purpose of the Mosaic Laws given to Israel serves as a protection to Israelites. Since they are in the wilderness, extra care and protections were needed. Jehovah’s Law protected and guided the Israelites in every facet of life. For example, the regulations on diet, hygiene, and quarantine spared them from many of the diseases that ravaged other nations. The laws on land ownership, repurchase, debt release, and usury brought social benefits in Israel by promoting a stable society and a just economy. Commandments against false worship safeguarded the people spiritually, shielding them from demon oppression, child sacrifice, and many other evils, besides the demeaning practice of humans’ bowing down before lifeless idols.

If you take a good review of all the prohibition, it tackles greatly with regards to health about prevention. Example, sick people should be quarantine, do not touch the dead ones, CR should be done outside the camp and feces should be buried, etc. Among this prohibition were foods that are clean and unclean.

At Leviticus, it also established that the disease can be spread by insect, rodent, and contaminated water.

Dietary prohibitions includes predators like eagles, owls, scavengers (raven, vulture) which is on top of the food chain which accumulates a lot of toxins from their food. Included in the prohibition are those animals that are dead (Double-dead animals), probably because of a disease, etc...

With regards to pigs, since they are indiscriminate in their feeding habits, even eating carrion and offal, they tend to be infested with various parasitic organisms, including those responsible for diseases such as trichinosis and ascariasis.

The animals that are considered clean under the Mosaic Law are those that are vegetarians.
