bago nag karoon ng BSIT na una ang BSCS.

BSCS ako.

Yes it's true kasi wayback before hindi pa naman ganun ka-complicated ang IT infrastructure, software is just running computer to computer or maybe a few network support. Hindi tulad ngayon na almost all software running thru network especially the birth of cloud computing. BTW, I'm BSCS kasi wala pa naman IT nun pero if ever meron ng IT noon I would go for IT. And now I'm an IT guy

hahaha... CS more on programming!(C++, TC, Java Script, ASP, php etc.,) IT more on networking and programs (graphics designs, Flash, web desgin etc,..).

sana maliwanagan na kau...:yipee::yipee::dance::dance:

YUP, walang mas mataas diyan pareho lang naman silang 4 years degree course eh at walang board exam.

Nasa isip ko lang dati CS lang ang meron walang IT tapos gumawa sila ng IT course para san? Para kaya mapunan ang kulang ng CS? HMM

I think this is partly true, most of the CS grads only wants to program of the language they want. While IT overseeing the IT infrastructure for the ease of the user. I think that's why IT was born, programmer don't want to know different hardware, software and protocols to work together if it is not the purpose of what they program.

ang ganda nang topic na ito,
naeenlighten ako even though grad na ako

btw CS graduate hir,
madugo math CS haha, dami naming math subjects noon,

i'm a CS grad pero mas prefer ko web at graphics designing:noidea:

ang IT mixed ng software and hardware?dioske naman, ano pa bang aaralin mo sa hardware?hahaha.kahit mag-sit in ka na lang sa pc ng 1hr or 30mins,malalaman mo na kung ano ang "HARDWARE" na pinagaaralan ng IT.comment lang, ang IT,IT na forever.ang CS,can be manager.IT ba?pwede?

Oo naman, to tell your frankly, what is the position title that manage the infrastructure that includes hardware, software and protocols that needs to be implemented by the company. It is the "IT Manager".

CS kc mas focus sa software.. and IT halo..software and hardware :)) ako IT student.. para mas ma challenge ka CS., pero ms mgnda para skin IT., halo kc...

Kaya galingan mo TS. Madami CS/IT grad dito, marami ka rin mapagtatanungan..

By the way, I'm a CS graduate major in Software Technology, tapos nagself-study na lang ng IT.

I just wanna ask kung may official thread ba ang CS dito? pakibigay naman ang link. Salamat.

not because the position is "IT Manager" kailangan BSIT graduate ka rin, ndi ganon yun! at sa natatandaan ko my hardware and networking subjects din sa BSCS, also, web design is part of the course..

:help::help::help: Oh mEN! High school pa ako! Hirap mag decide pa HELP! halos equal kasi yung Poll e! hahaha :help::help::help:

makuha naman sa mga kumpanya yang dalawa.. :D

kung anu hilig mu.
kung mas mahilig ka mag program mas bagay ka sa BSCS.

CS focuses only on software development and critical system analysis, while IT had a lot of field to be choose... either on sofware engineering, web developing, networking, etc.

so my vote goes to IT, and also because i am an IT professional.:salute:

parehas lang ng magiging work yan.

hahaha. it graduate ako,
cs naman yung friend ko.

ang ending,
nasa same company kame both as ase.
