IT grad! =) maganda din yung cs. For me, both. Basta nageenjoy kayo sa ginagawa nyo. Pareho namang computer courses and softwares.

All I can say is... they have different views. I'm a BSIT enthusiast and an IT Professor. Based on my own perception, CS is focusing in software development and in different "theoritical" computer subjects or simply "THEORY ABOUT COMPUTER-RELATED FIELD", while IT is focusing on different field under the branch of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. Ex. NETWORKING, HARDWARE MANAGEMENT, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, WEB DEVELOPMENT and many more. Kayo na bahala mamili.

Pero kagaya nga ng sabi ng iba. Wala yan sa course. Nasa skills at hilig mo yan.
Sumasaludo lang ako sa isang ComSci kung syempre mas madami sya natutunan kesa sakin at mas magaling sya sa mga bagay bagay hehehe

mga dre natapos ko na tong thread na to kakabasa ng comment pero naguguluhan padin ako Graduating ako this year and di ko pa alam ang course ko. IT CS or COMP.Engr ba -.-. gusto ko sana mag i.t kasi more on programming pero hirap ako sa hardcore na math and science, gusto ko din ng I.T pero parang KULANG ang IT kasi gsto ko matutunan maging hacker at ung sa game developer, pero gusto ko din nung comp.engr kasi may nabasa akong halong comscie at IT and more on hardwares ung comp. engr . Pero parang tumatatak sa puso ko e ung comscie pero dahil nga sa pag kakaalam sa hacking pero mahina tlga ako sa math and science kaya patulong naman mga dre -.-

i'm still confuse kung ano ba talaga mas maraming available na work at mas madaling makakahanap ng trabaho after mo makagraduate sa dalawang yan wat i mean alin ba talaga sakanila mas indemand interms of jobs here in Phily and especially sa Abroad?

Importante ang diploma pero mas importante yung natutunan mo habang nag a-aral ka...

May diploma ka nga may alam kaba?

oo naman may entrance exam lahat, may iba kasing university or sabihin na nating institute school, formality lang ang exam nila.
Pero kaya mo yan, ako nga kala ko di ako papasa, at kala ko mahirap, pero nung nagtatake na ko ng exam, madali lang pala ung mga tanong, halos lahat ng napagaralan mo nung highschool nandun. Kaya mo yan, tiwala lang sa sarili.

oo naman may entrance exam lahat, may iba kasing university or sabihin na nating institute school, formality lang ang exam nila.

kfkevz is right! Computer Science is more on software, applications and operating systems whereas IT focuses on how to implement them with current technologies.
