In a nutshell:
1) Labor Market Impact Assessment or LMIA is no longer needed for Canadian employers to hire you. The LMIA or the requirement that employers tried to advertise and recruit local workers but no one was willing, able and/or qualifed to work for the employer was the major reason why employers were discouraged to hire foreign workers. This old requirement was also a factor that prolonged the processing of work permits.
2). Before you come to Canada you will be pre-screened for permanent residency by the Canadian embassy just to determine if you have any inadmissibility factors like communicable diseases or criminal background etc. So after 2 years of working as a Home Support Worker you automatically qualify and are fast-tracked for Permanent Residency to reduce the processing time of your PR application.
2). You will come to Canada on an Occupational Visa as a Home Support Worker which means you are not tied to your employer. But you can only work as a Home Support Worker or Home Child Care Provider. If you don't like your employer after working for him/her for a few days or months you can change employers easily without having any immigration status problems.
3). You are not required to work Live-In but it's only optional on your part if you want to live in the employer's residence.
4). Your family can come with you to Canada and your spouse will automatically get an Open Work Permit as your dependent so he/she can work in any kind of job except Federal government jobs which usually requires Canadian citizenship.
5). Your children will also automatically get Student permits so they can go to school in Canada while you work.
