in today's modern weapons and wmd's?? Executing millennium old warfare principle aka "total annihilation warfare"?? the only winner i guess is death, destruction and global annihilation. two super countries declaring war on each other will only place the globe in total destruction.

In a war, all the resources of the state is dedicated for the sole purpose of arming its offensive force. and the ultimate and only purpose of war is the total annihilation and or subjugation of the nemesis country. there can be no other purpose than that, because engaging in war requires resources money and life. to engage in war your only goal is victory or else it will be a WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES.

Do the math. sinong magpapapigil between the two, at sinong makakapigil lalo na kung kanya kanyang kampihan na yan.

that was the main reason why cold war existed, between russia and us no one wants to pull the first blow, since both have the Nuclear capability. capability that is way destructive than the original bombs that exploded in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Imagine the History of the earth destroyed in a couple of seconds, billions of years gone for the vanity of man.

then make a study to make your basis more solid. historical basis is that ruso-sino alliance have been existent even before the 2nd world war, russians was lost to japan in the nipon-ruso war, russia's communism may have fallen but its main ally china maintains its stand on socialism. US holds majority of its outsourcing investments on china, and has made loans to address their faltering economy. China has control on half of fuel embargo from middle east by virtue of their leverage on US who facilitates this, china is aggressively expanding and its requirements for resources are doubling each minute to not only maintain their industrialization but to enhance it further. China has a big population making resources still a big issue. If projections are right, given the nature of China's development they will soon be compared to the time US was at the peak of its industrialization. And to make US a Superpower that the world respects, it needs a war that it will win and be the hero. just as what US did in the last War.

If a war between the two countries ever exist, it would be a similar event that of World war 2. I believe their strategists are studying the events that transpired historically and the projections they can make and preparations and steps they have to take. Remember Socialism is not only a region based ideology but is projected as a global course of action. meaning socialism in more countries ensures that communism is at its doorsteps. I believe China is taking the lead role that russia has failed to do.

War is emminent, maybe not between china and japan, but of the present superpower being challenged by an emerging one. US with all its military might and strength, is now silently being challenged by China's aggressive increase in its armed forces to match US. Japan, by virtue of its loss during ww2 has been made to sign the treaty declaring they will never in any period in the future increase its armed forces that is disproportionate to its defense needs. Japan only has an armed force for the purposes of defense, the only country capable of offensive stance and invasive nature is the US. and that is what China is now trying to match.

hahaha ayos ka ts,,,nkakatawa ung last kung magkatotoo man japan nako:yipee:

Yes, Voltes V! Haha

But seriously, kahit outmuscled ang China currently sa war technologies ng Japan, it wouldn't take time for China to convert its industrial machinery into arms and war machinery. At alam ng China at Japan to—actually lahat ng world powers. The lesson is from the US: sa start ng World War II, walang ganun kalaking military machinery ang US. When WWII started, all it took for the US to be militarily competitive was transform its industrial might to military might with help from volunteer citizens, including women and kids. At alam din nila gaano na kalaki ang industrial base ng China that is propelling it to the top of world economy. Technologically speaking di rin pussycat ang China. In fact, it shows its resolve to be independent of all Western dependencies by coming up with its own homemade computer chips rivaling Intel, and it's now evident in it being the at the top of the heap of supercomputers and nation with largest number of entries in the top 100 supercomputers of the world, a scenario hard to imagine even ten years ago.
