Had issues upgrading from ICS v12 to JB v14. The SW Tool was looking for a "system_7.unsparse" but said file was non-existent in the JB_v14 folder. From the SW Tool, the options given were to quit, or to type the path to the said file. Since I didn't have the file, I chose to 'quit'. The Tool then confirmed that download was successful. However, when I turned on the phone (after disconnecting it from the PC and removing/reinserting the battery) it just displays the Cloudfone logo. I can't even go to DFU mode (pushing vol +, vol - and power button doesn't work) so I'm stuck at the moment. Would appreciate any help.

Good eve... Possibly, 1.) you haven't installed proper drivers with administrative rights... 2.) could be the .rar file not fully extracted to destination folder... anyhow, you can try going RECOVERY MODE and you can use ClockWorkMod VVitaly mod... and download the ICS v12... just try it...

Good eve... if you read all the attachments on my first post, it should be ICS v12 via SD card not on CWM...

Good day... baseband must be V12, you can repeat the update ICS v12 via SD card... be sure you backup you IMEI before updating just to be sure...

Good day... baseband must be V12, you can repeat the update ICS v12 via SD card... be sure you backup you IMEI before updating just to be sure...

Good eve... ulitin mo lang update via SD Card ang ICS v12... if ganun pa rin, ang gawin mo na lang is restoring using NAND Image of ICS v12... before mo gawin be sure to backup IMEI image, then restore ICS v12 NAND Image then restore back your IMEI image... remember na mawawala lahat mga apps, sms, contacts, etc. after mo ma restore thru NAND Image...

About sa time sa SMS... hindi ko kasi ma gets ano ang point mo... try mo na lang Settings> Date & Time > and tick Automatic date & time.

Pwede magtanong? Currently v10 ang ICS ko. Gusto ko sana mag-v12. Pero medyo worried ako na mabura lahat sa phone ko, from apps to configurations, launchers, settings, everything. Kasi kung mabubura lahat, medyo matrabaho mag-configure ulit ng phone mula sa pag-install ng apps to launchers, settings and configs, etc ng ayon sa panlasa ko.

Sana naman hindi. Sana retain lahat, maa-upgrade lang yung firmware. Please advice before I upgrade. Problem ko kasi sa v10 is yung touchscreen, masyado sensitive. Yun kumbaga, kapag nag-touch ako ng screen, nanginginig minsan yung screen. Or kaya, pag nag-scroll up or down, bigla na lang tataas or bababa ng sobra kahit hindi ko naman ini-i-scroll. Mawawala kaya ito sa v12 kapag nag-upgrade ako?

Nabasa ko dun sa document na CT430x sw upgrade process via sd card v06 & v12.docx under #13:

13. The phone will go to factory mode to apply the SW upgrade file. After the SW upgrade has been finished, it will automatically reboot normally. This should take around 5-10minutes.

Ibig bang sabihin niyan, babalik sa factory settings ang phone after the procedure? What if may nandroid backup ako which was created nung v10 pa ang firmware ko, pwede ko ba siya i-restore via CWM at v12 pa rin siya after the restoration of the nandroid backup?

While I was waiting for a reply from qkwyx, sinubukan kong gawin yung procedure without actually proceding. May problem ako panibago.

Naka-freeze kasi before ang default file manager ko since I am using ES File Explorer as my main file manager. Sa tagal ng naka-freeze ng default file manager, akala ko pwede ko na siyang i-delete (to retrieve precious storage space from the system partition). So I deleted it. Wala naman akong problema.

But now, sinubukan kong gawin yung procedure na nakalagay dun sa msword document. But unfortunately, I can't browse/access the v12 firmware file sa microSD card kasi ang need na file manager to browse the v12 firmware is yung default file manager. Ang lumalabas ngayon is there is THERE IS NO TOOLS TO PICK FILES. Hindi pwede yung mga third party file managers like ES File Explorer. Since na-delete ko na ang default file manbager, meron po ba dito sa inyo na may APK file nung default file manager ng android 4.0.4? Or kaya titanium backup file ng default file manager na pwede kong i-restore sa phone ko? Salamat in advance sa makakatulong. Para sana maka-proceed na ako sa pag-update ng firmware from v10 to v12...

Good eve... if you have Titanium Backup installed you can backup your current installed apps, accounts, sms, call log, wifi accounts, etc. and restore back anytime you want even if you have reset to factory settings.

And when you update your ICS v10 and apply ICS v12 via SD Card it will go to Factory mode that will update your CT430x unit but after updating, still will retain all your current apps, settings, etc.... For short, hindi mabubura mga installed apps mo after updating... but before doing anything my advice always, are; 1.) Backup you IMEI/Radio Module, 2.) Make your own NAND Image using HDD Raw Copy app. if anything goes wrong, you can revert back your backup images to your phone.

And lastly you ask about CWM... kung nakagawa ka nang CWM backup ICS v10, apply mo lang yan sa current ICS v10... If nasa ICS v12 ka na then restore mo sa CWM ICS v10, masisira ang partition nang unit mo... pag restart ng phone mo mag stock ka lang sa Cloudfone logo... thanks.

Good eve... if you have downloaded the "cloudfone_thrill_430x_fs20130329_v12.zip" you can extract it inside... hanapin mo yung file na "FileExplorer.apk" file under /system/app folder... and paste it onto your phone with root access to /system/app folder

Good eve... yan ang napansin ko sa CT430x... kahit sa ICS v04, v06, v10, v12 at JB v14... sa tatlong CT430x unit ko ganun talaga... parang out of calibration ang touchscreen... hinahanapan ko pa nang good solution about that kind of problem...

Good eve... yan ang napansin ko sa CT430x... kahit sa ICS v04, v06, v10, v12 at JB v14... sa tatlong CT430x unit ko ganun talaga... parang out of calibration ang touchscreen... hinahanapan ko pa nang good solution about that kind of problem...

Oh damn. So yan lang talaga ang primary reason ko kung bakit ko gustong mag-update ng firmware. So wala pa palang solution ito? So you think, no need na akong mag-update ng firmware? Kung wala naman kasing malaking pagbabago, OK na ako sa current firmware ng phone ko. Antay-antay na lang ako sa paglabas ng fix sa problemang ito ng touchscreen since marami naman akong time.
