DAP Players

May ma-issuggest bakayong magandang DAP player? Been looking for a while.

I'm thinking about the old iPod classic + Rockbox combo. (pero ayun nga, phased out na siya sa market)

and also anyone here who's got a DAP setup? inputs appreciated. Thanks

Maganda po yung may dsd256 support if ur into hi res audio. Dami din bago ngayon especially china made daps.

Di pa ko nakakakita ng china made DAPs honestly, mostly Sony, Sansa ako tumitngin.

Yes, hi res audio is what i'm looking for, and more into the HIFI side. I don't use portable amps just the stock DAP software and equ.

IDK though if matagal battery life ng china made DAPs. Will look pa salamat po sa reply.

Sa headfi ako tingin reviews when purchasing iems or daps. Pag meron ako nagustuhan based on my preference. Hanap ako locally para ma audition. So far accurate naman reviews nila at sa pandinig ko. Go for the well known brand sir pero try mo rin chinese daps. Kung di kaya i drive ng dap iem, especially headphones need talaga separate amp.

I'm looking din for a portable dap and i about to replace soon my old and vintage Minidisc recorder

If you have a high budget around 10-15k I suggest for aune m1s or xduoo 2.
They are china daps, it lasts for 48hrs for a 3hrs usage daily.
Judt don't use high impendence earbuds like faaeel snow lotus 2, for iem like hibiki or tfz 2.

I use walnut v2 + sennheiser hd 6xx + auglamour amp.

Kung about Audiophile DAC, need mu malaking budget for hi-res audio like Flac can play up to 32bit/382kHz files like ng gamit ko ngayon Astell&Kern Kann pwede rin siya magstream sa Tidal, meron kasing DAP player kahit naka indicate they can play 32bit pero yung output is 16bit lang kahit flac yung format

You can also join FB groups, kasi may mga meetups and events so you can test and see what's the best gear for your ear.
