It started with Apple back in 2020 and other phone companies started doing the same.
You're probably using a charger that came with your old smartphone some years ago. While it will / can charge your new phone, maaaring hindi sapat yung Max output nito and magre-resulta sa mabagal na pag-charge ng iyong bagong device.
3rd party wall chargers are common these days marami kang choices pagdating sa brand, ports, wattage, charging spec.
Proprietary charging standards like warp, dash, and vooc are not compatible with PD. Kahit 1000 watts yung charger if it doesn't support the charging standard of your device, hindi mo makukuha yung advertised charging speed nito.
Lastly, check din natin kung yung cable is rated to handle the power output of your charger. Kung gamit mo yung original cable, then walang problema. Pero kung bibili ka ng 3rd party cable, you need to pay attention to its specs as well.
Start na ako.
I've been using this 30W Essager 3-port charger since June 2021 to charge my Galaxy Note 8 (QC3.0) and other devices like a 10k mah power bank.
Fast forward to December 2022
Bought a Pixel 7 pro, used my old charger, had to wait more than 3hrs to charge from 10% to 100%.
USB PD is the emerging standard so naghanap ako ng charger na pang future-proof na rin.
Bought this Baseus 65W 3-port GaN (Gallium Nitride) charger for 1050 pesos. Hehe
