Argentinian kid approached me and asked for my Alapag jersey in exchange for his Manu after the Senegal game. You should have seen the glitter in the eyes and wide smile when I said yes. Extremely memorable jersey for me, but the thought of this kid playing in Argentina in a Pilipinas jersey and telling his friends about Jimmy and Gilas just has more value.
I bet the Jimmy and the team would have it no other way.

Buti pa Gilas kahit eliminated nakuha ang respeto ng basketball world.
Ang Australia binabatikos dahil nag-tank daw sila vs Angola para di makaharap ang USA

EH ganyan talaga. Yan ang problema kapag pinalitan ang sistema sa knockout stage. Iiwas at iiwas talaga ang mga ibang teams sa mga malalakas tulad ng Spain at USA.
Ang sabi daw, advice yan ng isang dating NBA commissioner. Tindi niya talaga. He has still influence in basketball from beyond the commissioner's grave.
Kaya nga maganda na yung i-aadopt na ng FIBA ang format ng FIFA WC (8 groups of 4 teams each). Tsaka siguro dapat mas random na yung draw, but the top 8 teams should still have one spot in each group.
Yun nga lang, we always get the bad draws. But that's okay. Lalaban pa rin tayo kahit malakas o mahina ang group.

, at puro tambak din maliban lang sa croatia na natapat lang kasi sa france na medyo pinahirapan din ng gilas sa tune up game at may 7pts lang na kalamangan kontra sa gilas.

Emir Preldzic was born in Bosnia to Bosniak parents and grew up in Slovenia. He was a former member of Slovenia U-20 basketball. Turkish gov't. granted him his Turkish citizenship by way of naturalization.
He is also an import.
Group B is not weak. Ang 3rd, 5th, 16th at 17th rank nasa group na yan. I'll call them the "unluckiest" group. Natural lang na mag-expect ng mga upsets sa KO stage.
Group D pa rin ang weakest group sa kin.
