[GUIDE] Flashing/Upgrading CM Fusion Bolt (new 2014 update)

Disclaimer
I am not responsible if your tablet gets bricked, by following the process you are voiding your warranty and significant damage may be caused to your device.
If you are naive enough to screw somewhere, then it is your responsibility.
Software are unpredictable in nature, one may/may not act as predicted especially in case of rooting (personal experience). Hence my friend, treat with ULTRA care.
In short,
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR TABLET
(Please Read Through Before Starting Any Process)

Make a backup of all your files inside your tablet. The flash/upgrade process will format your tablet, deleting everything.

1.download the two archive files here:
new Firmware Update tool version 1.05.02
Firmware Update Tool
Latest Firmware
Previous firmware
2. shutdown Fusion bolt and then disconnect from PC
3. hold key "volume+", then connect PC USB port and wait few seconds
4. PC will ask for unknown device drivers, select the path to folder "\Hero 4 nuclear upgrade tool\Driver\" from "Firmware Update Tool" and let install them
5. start the Firmware Update Tool and open the jellybean_atm7029_7_a_130328.fw file
6. Important: select all the three .img files (misc.img, rec.img, system.img) if you forget anything to select the Fusion bolt will NOT BOOT anymore!
7. click DOWN button and wait until Successful 100% flashing done
8. disconnect from usb and let the Venus startup, first start may takes some minutes more than usually
9. enjoy your new Ainol Novo Venus :thumbsup:

Successfully changed to Ainol's official FW using Windows 7 64-Bit. Mas smooth nga siya compared to CM's FW. Inantay ko lang na ok yng unit ko bago palit FW kasi sayang yng warranty. Buti na lang may nagsabi sa akin na chinese language after mainstall at tinandaan ko yung language settings. lol

NFS Most Wanted played super smooth and so much improvement with GFX. (before basag ang lahat nang window gamit 0203)

And able to mount 8GB USB/1TB Seagate external drive using OTG cable (30 petot only @ CDR-King).

goodluck sir.. sakin 2nd ko lng nabili kasi di ako umabot sa stock sa FUBO sa sm north.. sa tipidpc ako nakabili 4.5k pero ok lng sulit pa din naman hehe :yipee:

as of now sir.. wala pa stock.. nagpareserve din kasi ako sa cm sabi ttxt nlng daw pag meron na available :weep:

sir if you are aware sa mga antutu benchmarks ng ibang users umaabot ng 11k+ ito po un..

sobrang laki ng pinagbago in terms of performance.. wala pa ko tweaks na nilalagay sa kernel ko.. i will upload my antutu later

mukhang isa sa mga blogger ang nabilhan mo ng 2nd hand FuBo kaya 5k+ pa ang antutu. yung mga nilabas nung march 6, 11k+ na yung mga antutu scores.

yes sir nawala ung lag

dami kasi bugs nang unit ko sa stock rom ng cm
nawawala ung apps ko pag restart ng unit
nag rerestart pag nagiinstall ako ng ibang apps :weep:

now wala na.. super smooth na talaga

you can create stock rom back using firmware upgrade tool sir.. :)

I agree. Kasi last March 6 din ako bumili. Pumalo ng 12006 yung Antutu result ko. :)
