1. LOOK FOR SWITCHES. There are some USB flash drives/micro SD cards that have switches that will allow you to prevent any unwanted changes. Check your storage medium for any switches.
2. PERMISSIONS MUST BE CHECK. To check permissions, follow the steps below:
•Open "My Computer"
•Right-click on your USB drive then select Properties
•In Properties menu, select "Security" tab
•Check the FULL checkbox option or WRITE if only for write permissions.
3. EDIT THE REGISTRY. FIND REGISTRY KEY StorageDevicesPolicies AND MODIFY IT.
•Press Win key + R and type regedit
•Navigate on the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
•Find the WriteProtect in the right pane, double-click on it, set its value to 0(Value Data box) then press OK
•Exit registry and reboot your PC
If StorageDevicePolicies key does not exist, you need to create it manually. To do this:
•Right-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrrentControlSet\Control\ and select New -> Key.
•Type the name StorageDevicePolicies
•Click on the new registry key that you've created, StorageDevicePolicies and on the right pane right-click, select New > DWORD and give it the name WriteProtect.
• Set the value to 0 after double-clicking on it
4. DISKPART COMMAND IN COMMAND PROMPT.
•Press Win key + R and type cmd
•Type "diskpart" without quotes then hit enter
•Type "list dir" without quotes then hit enter
•Type "select disk # " without quotes (locate the number of your flash drive) then hit enter
•Type "attributes disk clear readonly" without quotes
5. FORMAT DISK IN A DIFFERENT WAY.
Format using a command prompt:
•Press Win key + R and type cmd
•type "format F:" without quotes (NOTE: F represents the drive letter. Replace it with your corresponding drive letter)

•Download this

•After completing the low level format, you need to create a partition for your hard drive
•Press Win key + R then type diskmgmt.msc
•Select the pen drive in the disk management window, right-click on it then FORMAT
•Click OK and close the dialog. You will now be able to use your drives.
