Hi All, Please help regarding sa Mobo at Processor.

Hi All,

I am planning to build an entry level of gaming PC.
Ipapakita ko muna sa inyo ang "rough" ideal parts ko...
Motherboard:
Asus H81M-D PLUS
ASRock H81M-VG4
Asus H81M-K
MSI H81M-P33 v2

Processor:
i3 4160

Video Card:
Palit Geforce GTX 750 StormX OC 1G GDDR5 128Bit

Memory:
Gskill 2pcs 4GB Single DDR3 1600 CL11 Value Ram (F3-1600C11S-4GNS)


Kung mapapansin nyo, madaming motherboard akong nasa list, lhat sila
compatible naman since LGA1150 ang CPU socket nila (at cheap din ang price).
Pero kasi gsto ko sna malaman kung alin sa mga yan ang di na kelangan i-update
ang BIOS pag nai pair sa i3 4160. Anyone those people already tried na ang mga
mobo na yan together with i3 4160. (Di kasi ako marunong mag update ng BIOS).
Or kung may alam kayo na mobo na di na need i update at mejo same naman ng
price kindly help naman.
Since "rough" naman mga yan, baka pwede mag bgay na dn kyo ng thoughts, opinions,
ideas and comments regarding sa mga spects na kinuha ko. I will really appreciate them.

Just give u an Idea, gnyan ang build ko since gsto ko sana all rounded ang PC ko. Dota 2
lng naman nilalaro ko, and in future "Tree of Savior". At the same time, gsto ko mka less\
ng consume sa kuryente.

Una sa lahat . wag kang bumase sa BIOS BIOS na yan . . di nakakaapekto ng performance yan..
Ok naman yung mga motherboard pero iwasan mo si ASRock ..
yung Processor mo gawin mo ng i3 4170
Ikaw na bahala sa video card .. good ng yang gtx 750 pero kung may budget mag 950 ka ..
Lahat nman sila less ang konsumo ng kuryente ..

And kung may budget ka pa ng kaunti Suggest ko sayo na mag Skylake Build ..

Di ko kasi maiwasan sir i consider yung BIOS. Yes di xa nakakaapekto sa performance ng PC mo.
Pero ang concern ko kasi jan, madami akong nabasa sa mga ibang forums na hindi nag bo-boot ang
new build PC if u paired the i3 4160 to H81 or 8 Series Mobo. Since ang alam ko, Harswell refresh
ang i3 4160. Lahat ng H81 or 8 series na mobo need i update ang BIOS just to boot and work ur PC.
May nabasa din ako kung ang 8 series mobo mo ay pinakang latest batch na naimanifactured, may chance
na updated na ang BIOS and it will work outside the box.
Sa tulad kong 1st time builder, no idea ako sa BIOS, or even update it. Ayaw ko naman ako ma2lad sa ibang
new builder na pagkatapos nla mabli ang mga components and finished na iinstall lhat, saka naman hndi
magbo-boot due to not updated ang BIOS.
Every coins count, kaya ayaw ko bumili ng mobo na di gagana sa i3 4160.
Ang nakikita kong options are:

1. Bumili ng mobo na 9 series at bumili ng i3 4160.
2. Bumili ng processor na hindi Hashwell Refresh at bumili ng 8 series mobo.
3. Embrace the little chance na bumili ng 8 series mobo and praying na sana updated na ang BIOS just to work with i3 4160.

Mapapansin nyo, na parang decided ako sa i3 4160. YES, gusto ko talaga ang i3 4160. On my view, i3 4160 is good entry level
processor na swak sa budget and need ko.
Anyone, with has opinion, views, experience and tips that can share with me?

if need mo mag update ng bios. you just need the bios updater file and a fat32 usb ... madali lang mag update.

di naman tinatanggap ng mobo pag wrong bios ung i-fla-flash...

I did some research tungkol dito Haswell Refresh (Not Hashwell) .
kailangan mo ng mobo na manufactured after nung Haswell Refresh ..

"Haswell Refresh CPUs are supported by Intel's new 9 Series chipsets (Z97 and H97, codenamed Wildcat Point), while motherboards with 8 Series chipsets (codenamed Lynx Point) usually require a BIOS update to support Haswell Refresh CPUs. "

Kung concern ka talaga suggest ko na mag 9 series ka nlang . sure na talaga yan . sakit lang sa bulsa ..haha .
ok lang nman yung mga 8 series .. at hindi naman komplikadong gawin ang pag update ng bios .. daming tutorial nyan ..
may option ka pa .. pwede kang mag fx 6300 kung gusto mo lang .. and di ko nirerecommend to ..

Nakaktakot lang kasi madami akong nabasa na pag mali ka ng update ng BIOS. Ang chance is to breakdown ang mobo mo..
E 1st time builder pa naman ako. Hehe.

Yea, yun nga concern ko. Kaya nai ko concider ko talaga ang BIOS. At OO, one of my option is to buy 9 series mobo. Ang pinaka
cheap na mobo n nakita ay ASRock H97M Pro4 : Php. 3750. masakit pa dn yan compare sa mga 8 series na 2-2.5k lang. (At
di mganda ang review ng ASRock mobo's) hehe.


Maybe ang big chance na gagawin ko is
1. bumili ng 9series mobo na nakapikit ang mata sa presyo. Haha!
2. Is bumili ng 8 series mobo at maghanap ng marunong mag update ng BIOS (though may classmate akong mrnong mag update)
O aralin mismo mag update ng BIOS at isugal ang new bought kong BIOS.

btw, asrock is a subsidiary of asus which is an excellent mobo manufacturer. its kind of like their budget product brand.
