How to setup a Smart Bro in 4ports router or any Router


This guide explains how to set up a router for home or office networks with Smart Broadband ISP connection.

What You Need:

* A network router (wired or wireless router)

* Network adapters installed on all devices to be connected to the router

* A working Internet modem (Smart Broadband)

* A Web browser installed at least one computer in the network
Here’s How:

1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the Smart Bro canopy antenna to your PC.

2. On your PC run “command” and press enter type “ipconfig /all” to get the IP Address, MAC address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Server information. See the images below:

3. Plug in the router’s electrical power source, then turn it on.

4. Connect the Ethernet cable from the smart bro canopy antenna to your DLINK router.

5. Connect the Ethernet RJ45 Network Cable to your PC from one of the LAN ports of your router:

6. Open your Internet Browser and open the router’s administration tool by accessing web address “http://192.168.1.1″ or “http://192.168.0.1″ consult your router’s documentation to determine the exact address for your model.

7. The router’s home page will ask you for a username and password. Both are provided in the router’s documentation.

8. Then go to WAN Setup and chose Static IP. Fill up all the information in the field that you gathered in step 2 then click Apply and the router will reboot automatically.

9. Open your web browser and visit a few Internet sites such as http://virtuosomaster.com/ to check if the smart bro connection is working.

10. Finally, configure additional network security features as desired to guard your systems, and change the default administrator password.

Tips:
Be sure each end of the cable connects tightly. Loose cables are one of the most common sources of network setup problems.

Para sa mga Cloner ..

punta po kayo sa LAN or WAN ata yun I Clone nio po ung Mac Address nio para kahit naka off na ung PC at naka sak sak lng ung
adapter ng Kendi ok na ok po at hindi xia ma dretso sa portal ...

and BOOM! pwede nio din ma access ang canopy nio both Router and CANOPY!

I've done this pero ganon parin po problema. nagkkaron lng ako net kpg ttnggalin ko muna ung cable s router tpos iddirect ko sa pc. tpos ibblik ko ulit sa router. evertym n bubuksn ko po ung internet. tanggal balik tanggal balik ng cable. ano po kaya pwde solusyon?tp link po ung router na gamit ko.

Boss pa help naman po. Nag palit ako router belkin n300 kaso me na click ako sa configuration nya na bypass all network
ngayon ok naman kaso pag ginagamit ko pc ko nag login sa portal ganun sa phone pareho sila nag log in bawat gamit. Tapos ngayon di ko na ma configure router ko iba na ip address. Di ko na ma access ang config ng router pano ko maibabalik sa dati. Tnx po
