"Tips" when you buying a second hand iPhone
Ginawa ko po ito para maiwasan ang mga naloloko sa pag bili ng mga second hand na iphone! i think, iphone ang pinaka mahirap i-identify kung nasa good condition/unlocked etc.
ito compare sa ibang devices.
so ito yung mga kailangan nyo icheck or i-identify para makakuha kayo ng magandang klase ng second hand iphone,
Tingnan nyo kung good condition sya, pero dahil sa second hand lang malamang na hindi ito 100% good condition, kaya wag mag expect ng sobra

iCloud Locked Warning
Karamihan ng nabibiktima sa pagbili ng secondhand na iDevice ang problema ay tungkol sa iCloud locked.
Bago po tayo bumili o makipag kasundo sa isang seller ay tiyakin po natin na hindi ito naka linked o wala ng naka linked na Apple id sa iDevice na bibilhin nyo.

A: Ang pinaka madaling paraan ay lagyan mo ng iba't ibang sim like (Smart, Globe, Tnt, TM, or Sun) kapag acceptable at may signal, tsak na Factory Unlocked ito! pero kung ang device nyo eh kailangan ng nano sim at iisa lang ito, pwede nyo po icheck via IMEI sa mga website like http://iphoneimei.info/
Sa mga old phone naman like 3G and 3GS check nyo kung jailborken na po ang bibilhin nyong iphone, look nyo sa cydia, kapag may naka-install na ultrasn0w - possible software unlock (naka-relay sa unlock)
then try nyo din irestart/reboot yung iPhone para malaman if unlock ba using a gevey sim,
kapag ginamitan kasi ng gevey sim sa unlock, everytime na magrereboot ang iphone ay kailangan isalpak ang gevey sim.

A: X-sim R-sim Heicard ay mga card network unlocker! ginagamit ito sa mga device like 4s/5/5c/5s. para maka pag unlocked ng network at magamit sa ibang provider na gusto mo like (Smart, Globe, Tnt, TM, or Sun)
example: iphone 4s Smartlocked at gusto mo magamit sa Globe. Karamihan ay ginagamitan nila ito ng X-sim, R-sim para maunlocked ito.

A: umaabot ito sa 1,000 piso. Kadalasang makikita o mabibili mo sa monumento o sa Greenhills.
Q: Ano naman yung icloud, may nababasa ako na delikado daw bumili ng iphone na may icloud?
A: Ang icloud ay isang account kung saan ay normal na ginagamit ng karamihan para maka pag sync/backup/download and authorize. ginagamit din ito sa mga app na kailangan ng icloud account like imessage etc...
Makikita mo ang icloud sa settings ng device. Kung may naka signed dun kailangan mo muna ipa delete sa kanya kung sya talaga ang owner ng iphone, pero kung hindi nya alam wag mo ng tangkaing bilhin. Either na nakaw o napulot nya lang ito. At oras na mag reset/update ka ay hihingin ng device ang Apple ID nito.
Edit: pwede rin mangyari na naka on or naka link parin sa icloud ng may ari ang iphone kahit wala ng naka signed sa setting/icloud. ang pinaka magandang paraan or malaman na hindi na ito naka signed sa original owner ay kunin ang imei ng iphone at icheck sa imei checker site. tingnan nyo kung naka on ang find my iphone. pag naka on parin tsak nanaka link parin yan sa icloud ng orig owner. pero kung naka off. safe na ito.

- Button test

- Phone test

- Check iTunes and a battery charge

- Wifi test
Another thing to test is the wifi. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn it on. See if it detects networks around you and compare, if possible, with another iPhone.
- GPS test
Go into the Maps app and tap the arrow in the bottom left corner to make sure the GPS is working. Sometimes it might take a few seconds to get an accurate position via GPS as the iPhone first uses wifi networks around you to get the location.
- Loudspeaker test
Play some music to make sure the speaker is working. By the way, the iPhone has only one speaker (the other grill contains the mic).
- Inspect the headphone jack and dock connector
Using a torch, look inside the headphone jack and dock connector. The iPhone has water sensors which are white but turn red when in contact with water. Please note that these sensors might turn pink because of moisture in the air.
- Camera test
Test the cameras on the front and back. Also, record a short movie as the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 have a different microphone which records sound while filming. This microphone is also used to improve the sound quality during phone calls.
- LCD screen check
Another thing to test is the LCD screen. Start Safari and open a blank page. Using the white background look for dead pixels. While you’re here, test the 3G connection (if you can) by going to your favourite website. Also, turn the iPhone into landscape mode to test the accelerometer.
Test the brightness of the LCD screen. Go to Settings and tap Brightness & Wallpaper. Move the brightness slider to the far right to make sure the backlight is fine.

2. Make sure na naka off ang 4 digit passcode nya sa settings/general
3. Humingi din kayo ng personal contact, identity, and warranty sa seller, incase eh mas madali nyo sya mahagilap
4. Kung meetup ang napakasunduan nyo ng seller mas ok kung may kasama ka o sa lugar na maraming tao.
Ito naman po ang paraan para ma identify nyo ang iphone by model. meron po kasing mga nag bebenta na sinasabing iphone 4s ito kahit iphone 4 lang naman, same kasi design, One simple way to externally identify the iPhone models, is by the Model Number listed in small type on the back of the phone.
