Anybody wants to share something about the iPad 2?
Are you a proud owner of this magical device?

Help po...

Bumili po ako ng Smart BUDDY micro sim (prepaid) para magamit ko yung 3G feature ng iPad 2 ko. Nailagay ko naman po ng maayos at nadetect naman yung carrier as Smart. Pero bakit po walang lumalabas at nag-aappear na "3G" dun sa signal bar/carrier sa upper left portion?

Salamat po sa makakapag-advise at makakatulong.

This may sound weird (and/or stupid) pero wala po yang "Enable 3G" sa iPad 2 ko...

Ang meron lang po ay VPN at Wi-Fi...

I'm pretty sure this is a WiFi + 3G unit kasi IT LOOKS LIKE ONE and IT HAS A MICRO-SIM CARD TRAY.

How come wala yung option sa iPad ko na ganyan na ENABLE 3G?

Sa pagkakaalam ko e wala pang jailbreak for iPad 2 kasi medyo bago pa lang siya. naghihintay nga din ako e para ma-maximize ko itong iDevice kong 'to.

yung sa ipad1 ko ang nklgay is "cellular data" turn on mo lng den yun na..my lalabas na 3g..just make sure my load yung ipad mo kahit piso kasi hndi tlg lalabas ung 3g pag walang load..

Guys may ibng way pba ng pag unlock ng iphone4/ipad2 maliban sa pag jailbreak?yung iphone4 ko kc not supported ung baseband eh..

Yun nga e kung may maganda.. Try mo po iBooks kung mahilig ka magbasa. Kung madalas ka mag-FB, try mo Friendly or MyPad. Pag comics, free app naman po yung Marvel, DC, Archie comics.

Kating-kati na ko i-jb iPad 2 ko para mailagay na mga FULL (cracked) apps. kaso need pa maghintay na lumabas yun (iPad 2 jailbreak)...

hi ,, im planning to buy ipad 2 32gb wifi lng di nmn need 3g eh... kso wala pa stocks sa mga mac store uhuhhu..

no idea about jailbreaking pag ipad any link kung pnu??
kung ma jail break n anu anu pde i install n apps.. dami ko tanung about ipad hehe
isa pa pala ung sa ibook po b pde kht pdf files???

so far wala pa pong jailbreak for iPad 2...

marami kang maiinstall na apps, games, etc. especially 3rd party apps na hindi mo makukuha (sa App Store) kung hindi jb ang iPad mo. the best thing about it pa is you can get FULL versions of the app/games FOR FREE!

puwede po ang PDF sa iBooks though may ibang apps din for PDF (i like GoodReader for PDFs).

true, pag smart gamit mo, need mo at least 1 peso para ma appear yung 3G signal (make sure rin na nakalagay yung correct apn - internet ang APN ng smart)... regarding sa paggamit ng micro sim sa ibang mobile phone, make sure na tama yung pagkakalagay dahil po, mostly na phone ay gumagamit ng standarn na simcard unless may iphone4 ka na microsim ata ang sim.

i don't have a problem with the load/prepaid credits kasi more than 1 peso yung balance nung micro-sim na gamit ko.

also, i know that the correct APN should be "internet" and i already put that in.

sa paglagay naman sa mobile phone with no support for micro-sim, puwede gumamit ng:

1. micro-sim adapter (can be bought or DIY/custom made)
2. you can still use the cut-out from where you got the micro-sim from. just pop it back in place (you could put some tape to secure the micro-sim in place)

the problem with mine right now is that it seems our area doesn't have 3G coverage. i will try out a globe micro-sim to confirm this as well.

rating? for me, it's the best recent purchase i did so far! ako din may reservations before like you, na malaking iPhone/iPod touch lang siya. pero after owning and personally handling one, WALA AKONG REGRETS after buying it. it keeps getting better lalo pag tumatagal at nalalaman o nadi-discover mo "true" use ng iPad para sa'yo.



i'm eagerly waiting for the jailbreak to further maximize and truly enjoy what this iDevice has to offer!

are you referring to your friend's POSTPAID ACCOUNT? if yes, better to visit & ask/inquire at the business center where he applied for it.

on the other hand, if you're referring to the iTunes ACCOUNT, you can:

1. reset the password, or
2. create a new account

---> open iTunes
---> click "Store" in menu
---> choose "Create Account"
---> follow onscreen instructions

rating? for me, it's the best recent purchase i did so far! ako din may reservations before like you, na malaking iPhone/iPod touch lang siya. pero after owning and personally handling one, WALA AKONG REGRETS after buying it. it keeps getting better lalo pag tumatagal at nalalaman o nadi-discover mo "true" use ng iPad para sa'yo.



i'm eagerly waiting for the jailbreak to further maximize and truly enjoy what this iDevice has to offer!

wow it looks like super worth it ang pag bili ng ipad 2.. hmm for me kc parang nag dedepend pdn xa s itunes db na nasa PC or MAC... ang nagugustuhan ko kc sa ipad 2 eh yung touch screen technology nya and retina display + the 10hrs battery life.. best for movies and games.. pag pwde n cguro mag program gmit ang ipad bili na ako nyan hehe.. nag tatalo kc ang isip ko eh kung sony vaio or ipad 2 ba... hehe mag ka price kc sila eh

well, you could buy the lower-end iPad 2 (16gb wifi only) then dagdagan mo na lang yung matitira para makabili ka naman nung Vaio, hehehe! pero if you've got money to burn, go ahead and splurge!

you've missed out too that the iPad is an excellent ebook, comics, and photo viewer/reader!
