so its not necessary considering the purpose i listed BUT you got me at "realize benefits", so on the purpose i listed, what would be the advantage of jailbreaking?

1. Some very useful & powerful tweaks that cannot (and probably will not ever) be made available in the App Store are only available to jailbroken iDevices.
2. Free games & apps (i.e., "cracked" versions).
3. More ways of customizing your iDevice (springboard, themes, folders, icons, etc.).

The above-mentioned three are just some of the many benefits you can get with jailbreaking.

Yes you can. Those 3 apps are available in the App Store and can be purchased with an iTunes account.

would jbing resolve the no flash support problem and makes browsing better?

You could use some apps & browsers that could display flash content. I use Skyfire as an alternate browser to the default Safari. Other popular choices are iSwifter & Puffin.

Yup, working pa rin yung 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak na Absinthe (v2.0.4 ang latest). iOS 5.0.1 ka pa rin ba hanggang ngayon? Better update now to 5.1.1 at baka mahuli ka na't hindi na mag-sign ang Apple ng 5.1.1 dahil malapit na i-release ang iOS 6.

Ganito ginawa ko with my iPad 2 coming from iOS 5.0.1-jb. . .

1. Made a backup of my iPad 2 in iTunes.
2. Updated to iOS 5.1.1
3. Erased all content and settings (Settings>>General>>Reset>>Erase all Content and Settings)
4. Ran Absinthe tool. (very easy dahil kailangan lang i-click yung button na "Jailbreak").
5. Naghintay hanggang matapos yung buong jailbreak process.
6. Ran Cydia for the first time.
7. Restored my iPad 2 from the backup I made.
8. Done.

hello po gud pm.ask ko lang din po kasi nkabili ako ng new ipad (ipad 3 kung twagin) tapos na rin po jail break at nkaunlock na rin po.pero may kunti problema ako kasi sinaksak ko yung smart buddy micro sim ko kaso di nman pwd tawagan unattended daw.hindi rin mkakatanggap ng text message pero may signal nman siya at 3G pa..please help po..slmat

Gusto mo ng call (with video) sa iPad, use FaceTime*.
Gusto mo ng text message sa iPad, use iMessage*.

Good day mga ka-SB..just bought my ipad yesterday dito sa SAudi, successfully jailbroken na po xa, pwede po pa tut using the installous?wala po kasi ata dun ung mga mga common games, example angry birds or fruit ninja, and furthermore karamihan po ata dun eh broken links kasi nghihingi xa ng mobile carrier provider at number, and ask ko lang po, pag connect ko po sa pc ung ipad ko, nakalagay sa upper ryt nya 'not charging", di po ba talaga nagchcharge sa pc ang ipad?..thanks for any help i could get

Here's a quote from Apple support regarding charging the iPad via a computer's USB port

Some USB 2.0 ports and accessories do not provide enough power to charge iPad. When this occurs the message "Not Charging" appears in the status bar next to the battery icon.

The best way to charge the iPad is with the provided charger plugged onto a wall outlet.

Yup, working pa rin yung 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak na Absinthe (v2.0.4 ang latest). iOS 5.0.1 ka pa rin ba hanggang ngayon? Better update now to 5.1.1 at baka mahuli ka na't hindi na mag-sign ang Apple ng 5.1.1 dahil malapit na i-release ang iOS 6.

Ganito ginawa ko with my iPad 2 coming from iOS 5.0.1-jb. . .

kung nasa iOS 5 ang current iOS nyo, gamit nalang kayo ng OTA software update sa iPad nyo using WiFi para mabilis lang,
kaysa magdownload pa kayo ng 700-800MB na ipsw.

yan e, kung hindi po jailbroken ang iPad nyo.
kung jailbroken na, need nyo po yan irestore sa iTunes.

boss nagawa ko na po yung sa tut nyo, isang buong araw po ang inabot pero masaya salamat po may cydia na po ako kaso po ayaw magback up ang mga file, sayang po yung ibang songs at apps ko, na run ko na rin po yung cydia pero may question if who am i?

maybe battery low na yan kaya di na nade-detect sa pc...
sinasagad mo ba until ma-lowbat yang ipad mo? dapat magtitira ka ng mga 10 percent i-charge mo na para hindi mangyari yang ganyang trouble...

maraming issues ang katulad niyan like sa iphones at ipad, need na baklasin at i-charge manually ang battery para lang ma-detect at ma-restore sa itunes...

Ask ko lang po kung pano maapektohan ang baseband ng ipad 2 GSM ios 4.3.5 pag inupgrade ko sya to 5.1.1, currently 4.10.01 bb nya boss. TIA po sa reply... Natatakot ako baka magupgraade din ang BB baka hindi ko agad ma-unlock. Thanks!

Help !! Hindi ko na magamit ung ipad 2 ko.. Pag open mo pa lang meron ka makikita na arrow then nakatutok sa itunes logo... Meron bang update manually?? Anu po nangyari ??
