We're using ISA server as our proxy right now and is installed to Win2003 server. We are planning to remove the win2003 sa network (since it's already out of support) same with ISA.

one of the option we are considering is the Squid proxy. we tried to configure but we have difficulty achieving our requirements. we tried to setup the squid with the same behavior as ISA.

Internet <--Main office proxy <-- branch office proxy(squid) <-- end users

since squid is connected to another proxy (with established route), we only need to configured 1 NIC (its like CONFIGURING SINGLE NETWORK PROXY), in which the 1 NIC of squid belongs to our internal network.
what we want to achieve is to forward the end users internet traffic to squid proxy then to another proxy server (its a proxy chaining).

TS bakit need dalawa LAN?Install ko nlng sa vmware.
After mainstall ba fpsense hindi naman need na lage nakaopen kung san mo nakainstall diba?
-- Anung version mas maganda? fpsense v2.2.4
-- Ngayon kasi ang setup namin ( ISP>>Modem>>Switch/Router>>Client. )
-- Right now im using laptop then install ko lang virtual it is possible?
