meaning same lang kinakain nalng resources.

Bro mababa lang specs ng freenas ko 4GB lang core 2 lang mag 1 year na kaming gumagamit nito with owncloud pa yan Users namin 50 try mo bro baka makatulong. see attachedView attachment 314052

Yes, it is free. But with limitations. For basic virtualization though, it should be enough.

Ano gamit nyong AV (Antivirus) sa SMB nyo? endpoint ba or typical av lang?

Samin AVIRA Pro with network bundle management console. malupet isang department namin kaspersky puro virus tagus tagus tagalinis ko si avira.

ano po ba kelangan kapag gagamit ako ng pfsense?



YOu need 1 unit of cpu, hard disk kahit mababa lang, RAM kahit 2Gb dapat minimum of 2 Lan card para sa WAN and LAN download kang installer ng pfsense dito https://www.pfsense.org/download/ you need CD or USB para gumawa ng boot installer. boot mo sa cpu and install mo, then config kaylangan ng tsaga sa pag aaral, kaylangan din extra sipag sa pag search. kaylangan din sariling sikap. makukuha morin yan

Freenas bro nakakapag gawa naman dun user login bawat empleyado every login pwede mo lagyan ng rules per user na read lang ba sya or write or owner ba sya kahit walang AD.

Looking into it na. Tinry ko ung Pydio which is maganda:lol:

Hindi ba matakaw sa resources ung freenas?

pede mo din try sir un nextcloud. penge aq ng magging observations mo hehe.

Nextcloud gamit q now beta test palang pero accessible na sya tru web. Ginamitan q lng ng port forwarding saka static ip address.. dalawa kase un offces namen nasa Makati at dito sa bataan kaya need maaccess online :)

katulad nyo im solo IT dito sa company napasukan ko..

na walang nagtuturo sa akin pag nagkaka-problema, tangin symbianize at google lang takbuhan ko..

ngaun hingi sana ako ng advice baka na experience nyo na to.

Hardware: Seagate external hard disk 4TB
Problem: Continues clicking sound.

It can be possible to recover by my self?

Almost same ang next cloud and own cloud yata. Na try ko na ung owncloud, medyo ok din.

Malakas ba kumain ng resources yang next cloud dre? Saka ilang users mo jan?

sa ngaun nasa 10 palang pero total na mgging users q nasa 80-90 users lng.. running on vmware lng sya so far di pa aq nakakarmdam ng lakas ng kain nea sa resources kase nasa 10 plang kame gumagmit. nasa isang system unit sya with my mailserver(hmail + roundcube na online nadin)
 
Wala naman akong plano gumamit ng virtual dre. Pero gusto ko pagsamahin sa isang box lang talaga.

Paano mo pala gagawin yun pre? Pagsasamahin mo yung dalawang services/appliance pero hindi ka magvvirtualize? hehe

Sinu nakapag paimplement na ng Odoo or MixErp dito? or kahit anu open source ERP?

Ok lang mag opensource erp tol kung startup pa ang company pero kung medjo malaki
go for commercial na. habang lumalaki kasi mas lalong sasakit ulo mo nyan.
 
solo IT rin po ako sa isang company at bago lang din..
hihingi lang po sana ako ng advice kasymbianize..
ano ba magandang gamitin sa isang Supermarket ?

OK din naman po ang FREENAS/NAS4FREE, nagamit ko na yun. pero mga sir/maam beware lang po sa HDD configurations (RAID1). Para po maging safe ang files nyo if gagamitin nyo ito para sa company nyo po. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Pwede din pong LINUX (NFS) base ang file server nyo po mga sir/maam.

May GUI ung NFS dre? Kasi alam mo naman ung mga users, hindi lahat computer literate.

The users would just see the network drive on the My Computer windows as another regular hard drive. No GUI. What they will be doing is just the usual drag and drop routine ng mga files.

So if I have 50 users, they will all see the same drive? How about their files? If USER A saved a file on the drive, USER B can access it as well?

Un firewall po ba sineset up ntin eh sinesecure lng natin un mga access ng computer clients at software n gamit nila to internet? hehe snsya na po newbie question

Pwede mo rin i-secure from external to internal dre.
 
greetings!!! papatulong lang po... tong server ko po using Windows Server 2008 R2 on 64 bit system.... nag install po ako 32GB of RAM pero 9.96 lang po usable. ang pag kaka alam ko po hanggang 32GB ang kaya ng server 2008 R2 ano po problem???
