sir patulong po solo IT sa company namin need ko ng web base inventory system na free lang para construction materials po ano pwd nyo po masuggest na gamitin basta libri lang po hehe

If PC like mo maging file server just any distro ng linux and setup SAMBA. Sa hardware ingat ka lang sa PSU breakdown kung mag install ka ng madaming HDD. Ako naging alternative solution ko dito sa HDD problem ko external HDD setup basta yung USB is 3.0 para mabilis ang I/O & may sarili siya power adapter. Di magiging kasing bilis ng internal HDD ang I/O pero kung naka fast ethernet ka lang di mo mararamdaman yun.

Kung mag RAID setup ka ask ka ng advise sa ibang tao dito about sa NAS hardwares. Best ang RAID kung hardware kaysa software based RAID.

Note: Don't forget to setup a file backup system ng file server mo.
 
Mga paps, normal lang ba unavailable yung "available packages" ni PFSense? updated version ang saken e.
 
Hi Guys,

Ask ko lang po , pano po ba tamang pag set up ng router ng pldt to another router(tplink yung akin) ? do I need to change utp cable kase straight tru gamit ko e , palitan ko ba sya ng cross over?kase lage kong problema yang si wifi e, laging naglilimited access yung mga device at computer :(.

Need help please :)

Setup mo yung DNS sa LAN part ng router mo. Wag ka umasa sa default settings.

No need to use a cross-over cable since your PLDT modem and your TP-LINK router supports AUTO-MDI/MDIX.

Regarding your wireless having 'limited access' on your devices, check to see if you still get the same problem after switching over to a LAN connection. Troubleshoot your connection from the modem first, making sure that you do not have problems before moving over to your TP-LINK router.

If I had to configure such a setup I would either (1) Set the PLDT modem to bridge mode and let the TP-LINK router do the, well 'routing' OR (1) leave the PLDT modem as it is and just configure the TP-LINK router as an access point.

Yes its free. Create an account on My Vmware site and you will be able to download the software from there. VMware will assign a license key as well soo take note of it. Burn the VMware ESXi ISO file to a CD or create a USB installer then run it on your server or test machine. VMware ESXi will be the core OS of your machine. Unlike other virtualization software that needs to be installed withing Windows or Linux.

Take note that the free version is without limitation. Such as it will only utilize one (1) processor socket if your machine is multi-processor platform.

sir un vmware esxi ba pede sa kahit anong specs ng machine? gusto q sana itry sa standard pc ko dito.. sayang di nagagamit ei hehe..

i3-4th gen
8gb ram
tas mobo na pang 4th gen socket.. sa pag kakaalam q kase c vmware esxi pihikan sa specs eh

It should be ok, since I was able to install and use VMware ESXi on an old Intel DG31PR motherboard and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400.

What's the brand and model of your motherboard?

asus h81m-d.. ayos pala.. pede ko subukan un vmware esxi sa physical pc at ndi sa vm workstation lng hehe

Mga sir tanong lang.

pag linux diba LAMP gnagamit for apps like mail servers, cloud storage. tas sa windows IIS, xampp or wampp.. tanong ko lang kung may static ip ako tas idirect ko mismo don sa machine na may LAMP, WAMP, IIS or XAMPP . possible ba madetect un without using router with a port forward feature? un IIS nasubukan q na with static IP.. un xampp sinubukan q kaso ayaw :(

if my static IP ka sir need mo tlaga iforward un sa router if gagamit ka ng webserver. then if gusto mo without router or portforwarding gmit ka ng Dynamic DNS. mag login ka sa noip.me tapos magcreate ka dyan. yung IP mo madedetect nyan kahit hindi static. yung gagawin mo na dynamic dns yun ung ilalagay mo sa Address ng IIS mo.


mga system q nagawa puro server sir more on infrastracture kasi aq. web server halos lahat Appserver then database server for POS connected with VPn
